Red is in my DNA.

Red is the energy of life itself. Pulse, passion, strength. Love and fury. The courage to feel, to act, and to claim your place in the world.

In “Crimson Ascension,” this energy takes form. Rich red rises from the depths of dark layers, while sculptural strokes create movement that shifts with the light.

Every curve of the surface holds tension. Every burst of color carries an impulse. This is energy that lives and breathes.

“The Time Traveler “

I never intended to paint this figure.

When I began this painting, I had no sketch or story in mind. There was only a feeling, and I let it guide my hand.

When I set down my brush and stepped back, I saw someone standing on the canvas. Black hair. A black cloak. One hand raised. In the distance, the outlines of buildings emerged like a city appearing through the mist.

I stood there, studying the silhouette. Was this traveler saying goodbye? Offering a warning? Or reaching across the boundary between memory and what had yet to unfold?

That was when I found its name: “The Time Traveler.”

To me, the figure’s strength lies in its stillness. Everything around the traveler seems to dissolve, yet the figure remains. Amid the black, white, and gray, traces of gold suggest something precious that has survived the passage of time.

I painted this traveler, yet I still do not know the whole story. Each time I return to the canvas, I discover something I had not noticed before.

For me, the works I create are more than paintings. They are stories that take shape before I have words for them. I give them color, depth, and texture, leaving space for each viewer to discover something I could never have planned.

I don’t create from a place of comfort.
I create from intensity. From instinct. From freedom.
From the parts of me that refuse to be quiet.

There is elegance in me — and there is fire.
There is control — and there is something beautifully untamed.

I no longer feel the need to choose between them.

My art is where all of me is allowed to exist.

No explanation.
No permission.
No apology.

This is me.
And this is my art.

There comes a moment when we can no longer look away from ourselves.

Everything we carry meets us in that gaze—the love, the wounds, the strength it took to remain open.

I give that unseen world a surface.

“Crimson Ascension”

This is more than texture. It is energy that lives and breathes.

It pulses through the crimson, gathers in the shadows, and breaks through the darkness. Each stroke carries that movement forward—as though the canvas can barely contain what longs to reach beyond it.

Original heavily textured acrylic painting.

“The Time Traveler,” up close.

Texture, traces of gold, and scratches that let light into the shadows. A figure whose story is still unfolding.
