Sometimes the art chooses the soundtrack. ✨

A little glimpse into my world of intuitive art, where colors, textures, and imagination lead the way.

Sometimes the art knows where it’s going before we do.

I painted this while visiting my mom in Ohio.

I didn’t have a plan. I just started painting, following the colors, textures, and whatever felt right in the moment.

And when I stepped back, I laughed a little because I thought, That looks like corn! 🌽

Which is fitting, considering Ohio is where I grew up.

Maybe a little piece of home found its way onto the canvas without me even realizing it.

Now it hangs in my mom’s room. 💜

That’s one of my favorite things about intuitive art. You don’t always know what you’re creating until you give yourself permission to create it.

✨ Your creativity is your alchemy.

I’m so excited to share that my original mixed-media painting, Metamorphosis, is now on display at Art & Nature Eco Salon in Libertyville, Illinois!

It feels especially fitting that a piece inspired by transformation and the beauty of nature has found a home in a space that celebrates natural beauty, sustainability, and wellness.

A heartfelt thank you to Ruth, the owner of Art & Nature Eco Salon, for welcoming my artwork into her beautiful space! 💜

There’s something so special about seeing art move beyond the canvas and become part of a place where people gather, connect, and feel good.

🦋 Metamorphosis is currently on display and available for purchase. Fine art prints are also available! If this piece speaks to you, feel free to message me for details.

If you’re in the Libertyville area, stop by, experience this beautiful salon, and say hello to Metamorphosis!

✨ Art that speaks to the soul.

Creative play in full color! 💗🩵🎨

A little glimpse into a mixed-media workshop I took with fellow artist Michelle O’Connor.

Layers of color, texture, collage, and unexpected discoveries.

One of my favorite things about art is that there’s always something new to explore, experiment with, and learn.

Sometimes you just have to give yourself permission to PLAY. ✨

Your creativity is your alchemy. 💜

A little sneak peek at what I’ve been creating lately. 🎨✨

Layers of color, movement, texture, and light.

No expectations. No rules. Just following my curiosity and seeing where the colors take me.

Flow. 💜

LIFE IN COLOR

A little inspiration from a poster at a friends house, a little David Bowie energy, and a whole lot of playing with paint. Sometimes creating is simply about experimenting, following your curiosity, and seeing where the colors take you. More color. More creativity. More joy. #lunalotus222 #intuitiveart #create by @lunalotus222

Sometimes I begin painting without knowing where it’s going. I follow the color, the texture the movement and let the piece reveal itself to me. I didn’t set out to make a delicate bouquet. There’s darkness here fragmentation things cut apart and reconstructed, and still life keeps pushing through. Flowers emerging from darkness a butterfly tucked among the blooms pieces transformed into something new that’s what I love about intuitive art you don’t always have to know where you’re going to create something beautiful.

Okay… I did it. 💜🪷

My Luna Lotus 222 Etsy shop is officially open.

What began as a way to give my feelings somewhere to go became healing, then a creative practice, and eventually something I finally learned to say out loud:

I am an artist.

Today, I’m putting that art into the world in a whole new way.

My shop includes pieces created from my original artwork, including fine art prints and other Luna Lotus creations — and this is only the beginning.

If you’ve been here encouraging me, watching me create, or reminding me to keep going… thank you. Truly. 💜

August reminds me that every masterpiece begins with a blank page.

This wasn’t about creating something perfect.

It was about sitting down, picking up a marker, and trusting that the next line would reveal itself.

Maybe that’s what this month is inviting us to do, too.

Not to have every answer.
Not to know exactly where we’re going.
Just to begin.

One page.
One choice.
One brave step at a time.

Here’s to filling August with more creativity, more courage, and more moments that remind us who we really are.

What’s one intention you’re carrying into this month? by @lunalotus222
