Back in June, I completed my second ever dance intensive. Was able to live out my Mulan dreams with SWORD DANCING 🗡️😍. Thank you SO much to Cai Teacher, @xunli_global_official, and @xinyi_dance_studio for teaching, organizing, and hosting!

Special thanks to all my friends that came out to support me (and sat through an entirely Chinese spoken program 🥹) @witriew @kelseyrae808 @seunghyooo @aimeeoxia @2changz.m

Side note. Really really do not recommend dance intensives the same weekend/night as Garrix AND THE KNICKS CHAMPIONSHIP win 🫠🧡💙. But couldn’t have asked for a better week! #knicksinsix

Mulan was one of my favorite movies growing up. I originally watched it (in theaters) because my Dad was excited that such a legendary Chinese folk heroine will be depicted in a Disney movie!

I loved Mulan because she showed how bad ass she could be if she put her heart and brains toward a goal—all while being a very relatable character.

I wasn’t planning on taking “Mulan” pics, but more studio / hanfu clothing ones and just happened to see this photo studio while looking for DIY workshops.

Super happy with how all these Mulan pics turned out. It’s not like I’m great at smiling with my mouth closed anyway 😅
