IT'S NOT GOODBYE IT'S SEE YA LATER

For over three years until this past September, I had the immense privilege of steering the ship @littlebrotherbar. The unbridled creativity and community in the middle of a shitty party street that never asked for us or wanted us was exhilerating, and the popups and absolutely insane shows that we crammed into our tiny little patio are nothing short of unforgettable.

Sadly, due to @camdenraineystreet engulfing the patio in scaffolding and an absolute hellish wave of huge developments that @austintexasgov approved simultaneously, Lil Bro has no choice but to shutter temporarily until some of it subsides.

Little Brother, for the time being, is once again going nomad, starting with this absolute BANGER at @lowdownlounge THIS MONDAY. BURGS BEERS BANDS BULLSHIT all the things you expect. Honored to be bartending this with Johnny (the guy who kept me from ripping my fucking hair out for most of my tenure cuz running a tiny lil idiot bar is harder than it looks.)

I poured my heart and soul into that place for years and would love to see yall there. Yall know we know how to throw a party so don't miss it. by @lunarcortex

Snapshot of the acid-laden stomach of the Ouroboros. Nary a trace of beauty when up-close.

@serialmouse_ , the brainchild of my former bandmates in @angelgraveband , just dropped their debut record, which I had the honor of mixing and mastering. It's an incredibly unique and well-thought-out record and you should definitely check it out.

Accidentally cranked my Moog's overdrive while plugging in and two hours later a new project was born. Hope y'all are ready for some pummeling space juice once the venues reopen their gates. 🥁: @boogeymonzter sampled from an August '18 recording session.

New solo material collides with gratuitous delay. Beyond excited to see how these songs develop and to share them with you!

@cochisetheband has arrived in a most appropriate caravan to play a private set for the lavenders. Whether it's a solemn guardian or an ill omen is yet to be determined.

Taking a triumphant breath, the sapling stood amongst its brothers in solemn contentment. The flame and tribulation of days past bore into their feet, but they stood nonetheless.

Re-amping bass tracks in my living room because this monster bass head is its own DI and re-amp box. Devilry is afoot; details coming soon!

It's been a long road since moving across the country and suffering a serious hand injury but the groove never dies. Solo folk-jazz singer-songwriter material and loud space rock in the works. In the meantime, something spooky. #solobass #fretless #carvin #spooky #moonmusic #pog #moog #rhodes #tapping #space @empress_effects by @lunarcortex

As he walked across the plain, all that surrounded him was turning to vapor. Eyes simmering and flesh cracking, he pressed forward with relentless temerity, for he knew that it was all that held his consciousness together.

"SSL computer says the rug really tied the room together." Got to experience the facilities of my old job as a client and laid down some serious space juice. "Wandering Pulsar in the Orbit of Darkness" will surely be @angelgraveband 's most intense and challenging record to date. Stay tuned!! Also, huge shoutout to @tylerrice_ for having us and manning the board!
