Self control where? Not here!!

I couldn’t help myself going to @by.sesami with this and boy, did she deliver!! 🤭 Who wouldn’t be thinking the same thing as Xiomara? She’s living out her fantasy book dreams!! 😭💜

𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗩𝗲𝗶𝗹 🌌

After being laid off from her tech job, Xiomara is pulled through a portal into a magical realm—and honestly? It’s the most exciting thing that has ever happened to her! However, the kingdom she landed in believes that she is tied to a cursed prophecy and refuses to let her wander on her own. When news of Xiomara’s arrival reaches the emperor, he sends Orion to retrieve both her and the mysterious pendant with the promise of returning Orion back to his realm, Earth. Unfortunately for him, Xiomara lost the pendant. What should have been a simple mission turns into a desperate search for the one thing that could change the fate of both worlds.

Wanted to share a peek of the prologue. I asked for @bk.wings make a “surprise me” illustration based on the prologue I provided her and just seeing it made me so happy 😭 I will be setting up a newsletter and Patreon soon and sharing the prologue on there for you to read. Did I mention the prologue is in Orion’s POV? 👀

Little note, Orion and Xiomara had nicknames their friends used when they were children.

I’m always so nervous about posting snippets (imposter syndrome + anxiety), but I wanted to give you all a little preview. Please keep in mind that this is the unedited version, so it may change slightly 💜

And yes, I know exactly what I did with the song I picked 🥲
