This one feels different from the books i mostly read....darker, deeper, and more intense. The way I imagined it....it's full of darker themes... filled with mind games, broken pieces, messy emotions, twisted truths and that ADDICTIVE tension we all live for. From the very first teaser...i could literally feel the weight of this story. The pain, the chaos, the love, the danger.... everything pulls you in. And honestly?! I am SO PROUD OF Ame and Scar for creating such an amazing and beautiful and intense book and what not!? I mean....so proud of you girls. Both of you are gems...the kind of authors who don't just write stories but create experiences. Seeing their work grow, seeing their vision come alive, and now the title reveal.... everything makes me feel so happy and I am so happy to be part of this beautiful journey with both of you. The way I LOVED this line is UNBELIEVABLE🧎🏻😫 This book was an absolute rollercoaster in the spookiest amusement park ever.....dark, haunting, and heartbreakingly beautiful. The vibes? Immaculate. I swear, every moment in Gravewoods Fair felt like walking through a dream wrapped in mist and moonlight. And Maddox and Nadia? OH. MY. GOSH. Their chemistry was explosive. They were so freakin’ sexy and devastatingly beautiful together. Maddox had this insane mix of gentleness and danger....the kind of man who could make your heart race just by standing there with an axe in his hand 👀🔥 (I’m still drooling, not gonna lie.) Nadia, my soft-hearted baddie 🖤 I adored her strength, her pain, her resilience. The way she kept pushing through her trauma broke me. I wanted to hug her so bad every time she felt that quiet longing. She deserves the world. Together, they healed each other....two broken souls finding peace in the most haunting way. When Maddox thought, “Nothing can hurt me here. Nor anything can hurt her. Two broken souls connecting in the only way they know how.” I felt that. Deeply. Overall, His To Fear was one of the best spooky obsessions I’ve ever read....beautifully written, fast-paced, and addictively dark. Rainelyn’s writing never lets you breathe (in the best way possible).
