No lunch box on Fridays 🙂 But instead we’re doing crescent rolls for an after school snack 😊 I’ve seen these made all over Pinterest and IG so I gave them a try. It turned out to be an easy and yummy light lunch or snack for the family. Even my husband enjoys them! I personally prefer the broccoli and cream cheese version over the pizza version but the girls love pizza. Ingredients: ✨ Trader Joe’s Organic Crescent Rolls ✨ Pepperoni ✨ Mozzarella Cheese shredded ✨ Tomato sauce ✨ Cream cheese ✨ Steam broccoli (chopped after cooking) Method: •preheat oven to 350 degrees •spread out crescent roll to the 8 precut triangles • on 4 triangles - spread a spoon full of tomato sauce and add mozzarella cheese and 1-2 pepperonis (I actually found 2 to be too salty so next time I’ll do one or maybe chop them up and sprinkle • on the other 4 triangles - spread a spoon full of cream cheese on each and add mozzarella cheese and chopped broccoli • roll them up (starting with the straight side of the triangle - not the pointy side) • brush on olive oil • sprinkle on dried oregano and garlic salt • cook in oven for 10-12 mins at 350 degrees Enjoy! 💕 by @lunch.box.series
Rise and shine! Hope y’all have a fun filled weekend! Busy Monday mornings call for a quick lunchbox 💕cream cheese and strawberry jam sandwich *** I find this to be a good PBJ alternative since their school is nut-free*** 💕fresh corn 💕grapes and navel oranges 💕gold fish crackers 💕vego gummy bears from Erewhon ** fancy gummies I bought to bribe my girls to use the potty haha*** by @lunch.box.series
Not technically a lunch box story today but this is my new fave east pasta to make and pack into my girls’ lunchbox! They absolutely love this pasta for dinner so it’s easy to expect they’ll gobble it up for lunch too! This recipe is quick, minimal prep and clean up. I got the recipe from @traderjoes5itemsorless and our whole fam loves eating this!! Plus it is a great way to get fresh tomatoes into my girls’ meal since they don’t like to eat tomatoes as is. I added some store bought meatballs and switched up the bowtie pasta for mini penne since it’s the perfect size for the girls. I also didn’t use the garlic from trader Joe’s - I had some of my own mined garlic already. Let me know if your little ones love this as much as mine 💜💜 Bon appetite & thanks for watching! Ingredients: 💗grape or cherry tomatoes 💗Boursin cheese 💗mined garlic 💗olive oil 💗salt and pepper 💗crushed chili flakes (optional) 💗spinach 💗Parmesan cheese 💗bake at 400 degrees for 30 mins #yumyum #quickrecipes #lunchforkids #dinnerforkids #toddlerlunch #toddlerlife #lunchboxideas #lunchideas #lunchideasforkids #traderjoes #traderjoesfinds #healthylunchideas #lunchfortoddlers #toddlerfood #munchkin #momlife #busymom #toddlermomlife #toddlermom #tomatosauce #pastalover #pasta #pastarecipe #explorepage #foryourpage #toddlerfooddiaries #fooddiary #chefmom by @lunch.box.series

Broccoli and cheese crescent pinwheels never go out of style! Made them this morning for the girls’ lunchbox. These were so yummy I just had them for breakfast too. Only took me less than 30 minutes to make! You’ll need: ◽️1 can of Crescent roll ◽️1 cup of cooked broccoli with 2 cloves of minced garlic mixed in with some olive oil ◽️3 tablespoons of cream cheese ◽️Handful of shredded mozzarella cheese ◽️Handful if shredded Mexican 3 cheese blend To do: -preheat oven at 350 degrees -spread out crescent roll onto sheet pan and don’t separate them to the precut triangles -spread cream cheese all over -sprinkle mozzarella cheese -sprinkle Mexican 3 cheese -sprinkle chopped up or cut up cooked broccoli -roll up the crescent roll -cut into desired size. I got about 7 pinwheels by cutting them about 1 inch wide -pop into oven at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until golden Enjoy!! Ps. I’m in my TS era hence the music haha. by @lunch.box.series

It’s Friday eve! Weekend is almost here … but sometimes weekends don’t feel the most free when you have toddlers haha. Although it is fun family time for us :) 💗Bow tie pasta in my version of pesto *** my girls love pesto pasta but their school is nut-free zone so I have to make it without pine nuts. I try to sneak in spinach so I used it instead of basil and added avocado. They actually don’t mind it!*** 💗cantaloupe and strawberries 💗tangerine 💗Trader Joe’s Fig and Olive crackers 💗mozzarella cheese With love, mommy by @lunch.box.series
👻 BOO!! Today’s lunchbox features your friendly neighborhood cucumber ghosts 👻 I’ve been seeing so many cool variations (all puns intended) of cucumber Halloween characters and decided I wanted to try the ghosts! My girls love cucumber and hummus so why not make it fun. It’s pretty easy, just requires a sprinkle of imagination. To make cucumber ghost: 👻 cut cucumber horizontally to desire “height” of the ghost (mine are about 1.5-2 inches) 👻peel the skin on the top part (ghost’s head) 👻stand the cucumber upright and slice down to desire thickness 👻cut triangles/zig zags on the straight edge 👻punch eyes and mouth using a straw Lunchbox today @omielifeinc : 🍃cucumber ghosts 🌿hummus 🌿cantaloupe 🌿strawberries 🌿chicken nuggets 🍃brioche bread by @lunch.box.series
