My favorite time of the year. 🚴 🍂 #bicycle #autumn #outdoors #salzburg #austria by @lunch227
Unfortunately this seems to be the last warm weekend for some time. 2026 was quite cool: got my first carbon bike, did my first imperial century rides with 100+ miles each, met LOADS of cats on the way and really enjoyed cycling in general - even it's just 1 or 2 hours after work. #cycling #gravel #salzburg #sport 🏎️ 🏎️ 💨 Least beautiful Salzburg view be like: Double 🫴🫴67🫴🫴 Forgot to press the pause button today while I stopped for quite some time (recording the highway video 2 slides to the left + eating). I swear I'm faster than that. 🫠 New tool box who dis? by @lunch227
And here we are with 3/3 big cities within a ~150km radius from Salzburg: after Munich and Linz I took the train (220km/h top speed ftw) to Innsbruck, went to Austria's most famous roof (I genuinely don't get the hype but there were MASSES of tourists at 9am already) and then rode back the 178km to Salzburg. If you ever have the chance to visit Tyrol just do it. The landscape is mind-blowing and they have actual good cycling infrastructure as well. The Bavarians have funny signs, so there's that. 😬 #cycling #biketour #bikepacking #innsbruck by @lunch227
From planning to cycling within 8 hours because I can't organize things properly. 😭 I planned the route and bought the train ticket to Linz yesterday at 11 pm and boarded the train today at 8am after almost missing it due to my excellent planning skills. Why would yesterday-me make today-me leave that early... 🙄 But it was a nice 168km ride and I FINALLY got the Garmin 100 mile badge (two weeks ago I accidentally ended the first activity after 75km while cycling home from Munich due to my fat fingers). And the Backroad FF rides like a dream. 🫶 #linz #salzburg #cycling #gravelbike #sheep by @lunch227
Day 3 and the perfect end of the race weekend of @adac_motorsport GT Masters ends with a Lamborghini win after starting dead last (Huracan GT3 = peak GT3 car, you can't change my mind). Today I played around with the tele lens and different camera settings. Huge zoom means a lot of blurriness but when you're lucky the pictures get just right. I'm nowhere near a professional photographer and don't have expensive equipment but those beautiful racecars are the perfect opportunity to get better while they're flying by with up to 270km/h. The harsh sunlight is not optimal for pictures in general but it is what it is. #gt3 #racecar #lamborghini #bmwm #motorsport by @lunch227
Day 2 of @adac_motorsport GT Masters meant race 1 of the weekend and a grid walk where you could literally touch the cars. It doesn't get any better than that apart from driving the cars I guess. #gt3 #racecar #bmw #audi #lamborghini by @lunch227
Day 1 of @adac_motorsport GT Masters on the Salzburgring. Races are on Saturday and Sunday so there's just some training sessions on Friday with not that many spectators around which is great for taking pictures. I got very lucky with the first picture - I was already on my way back to the car to drive home but then the BMW stopped right there with the perfect light around. Already my favorite picture of the year. #gt3 #fyp #motorsport #salzburgring #racecar by @lunch227
A week ago I was watching Netflix and suddenly wondered how to cycle from Munich to Salzburg (normal evening btw). Komoot said it's 165km, I created the route, waited for good weather and took the train to Munich yesterday in the morning. After riding by the Rose store in Munich I started going towards Salzburg and learned a valuable lesson: NEVER EVER SELECT "GRAVEL CYCLING" WHEN PLANING A LONG KOMOOT ROOT. Even if there was a perfectly fine bike path Komoot would deroute through a literal cow field with stones as big as a hands where I had to get off and push the bike which slowed me down considerably. But at least I know every single forest trail and field in southeastern Bavaria now. 😑 Next time I'll go ahead and plan it as a road bike route and make some adjustments when necessary. Apart from that it's my longest ride yet, the bike is still a dream to ride although it became uncomfortable in the end due to the really aggressive race bike geometry. Would I do it again? Absolutely! Fun fact: super market employees are not happy when you go through the store with your bike just because you have no lock with you. Still got to buy some stuff though. #biketour #cycling #gravelbike #backroadff #munich by @lunch227
When @rose_bikes visited Salzburg in July I just wanted to look at their gravel bike range and test ride some of them. I tested different gravel bikes, a road bike and even an e-mountain bike that rode more like an enduro bike than a bicycle. When I sat on the Backroad FF it instantly clicked and I just knew that I was looking for exactly that. After another week of research mainly on the different group sets I ordered it on July, 19th. Almost just a month later instead of the 8 weeks they stated it arrived yesterday. The manual for the final assembly was brilliant and so I got to ride it shortly after delivery. After fine-adjusting the rear derailleur, the click pedals and the saddle height I decided to take some pictures since it won't be that clean ever again. 😬 My first literal race bike, first carbon frame and first SRAM electronic shifting. Compared to the "regular" Backroad the geometry is way more aggressive (obviously), the bike is more nervous aka nimble and way lighter in weight. I love it. Now I just have to figure out how to use the frame bag AND 2 bottles at the same time, maybe there are smaller bottles than the standard 750ml ones that fit into the normal bottle cages? #bike #bicycle #gravelbike #rosebackroad #backroadff by @lunch227
The third and final day of the GT Masters can be described in 3 quick notes: grid access, a BIG Lambo crash at 250+km/h and engine sound & action en masse. 10/10 will be the first to buy tickets for next year #adac #gtmasters #gt3 #lamborghini #huracan #crash #carcrash #accident #mustang #mercedesamg #motorsport #racing #bmw #m4gt3 by @lunch227
Day 2 of the GT Masters on the Salzburgring was way dryer than yesterday's day 1. The first race of this series ever took place today and the McLaren won before the only Mercedes AMG GT3 in the field and a BMW M4. I've been to "live" races before and the most striking difference to watching a race in a live stream every single time is the pure sound when 15+ cars accelerate at once - just mind-blowing and beautiful. 🤤 #adac #gtmasters #gt3 #porsche #porsche911 #bmw #m4 #lamborghini #huracan #motorsport by @lunch227
When you're not going to a GT3 race the GT3 race is coming to you. 😎 For the first time ever the GT Masters is at the Salzburgring which is literally only a ~20 minutes drive from home. It was very rainy today but just awesome to hear those engines and see those cars. It's my first time seeing the Mustang GT3 live and in color - great car. But the Lambo V10 has the best sound as always and is in a league of its own. 🥰 Tomorrow will be the first race, Sunday the second race. And on both days it will be a lot dryer than today. #adac #gtmasters #motorsport #gt3 #v10 #audi #lamborghini #huracan #fordmustang #fordmustang #audi #r8 #porsche #porsche911 by @lunch227
