POV: you become emotionally attached to an outfit you made yourself 😭🩷💚Almost a week before the Bad Bunny concert I was STILL making last-minute changes. Ironing, sewing, sorting my shoes, earrings and flower… because in my head it had to be ✨just right✨I had seen an outfit on Pinterest and thought I could make it. Turns out… I actually could. 🥹My friend made the “YO PERREO SOLA” letters on her Cricut 💚 and everything else was made by me:from upcycling a pair of shorts I couldn’t fit into anymore to the scrunchie straps on the top💖♻️That day I laughed. I screamed every lyric. I twerked. I cried. I danced until my feet hurt 💚😭✨It wasn’t just a concert… it was a core memory. 🧵 A couple of questions to keep the fun going:🤍 What colour does the top fabric have? 🤍 And most importantly, how shall I wear it? The three options in the video 🤍🤍🤍This is the first time making a a piece of clothing with a cowl neck and honestly? The Doll Blouse 💙🦓Made from this gorgeous silky blue zebra print and apparently designed for maximum main-character energy 💁🏻‍♀️At one point I genuinely felt like one of those dolls a little girl takes on the wildest adventures: posed dramatically, spun around and living my best imaginary life 😂🦓🩵That’s kind of what sewing feels like, isn’t it? Wore this handmade combo today and I’m pretty sure it improved the atmosphere by at least 37% ❣️☀️This skort was a fun one to test! Not going to lie, it put me through a few moments along the way, but we got there in the end and I think it turned out pretty sweet ❣️I also recently tested the pattern for this top, and when I put the two together it felt like they were meant to be 💟A full me-made outfit for a warm, colourful day? 🖤🖤🖤🤎🖤🖤🖤I tested this dress pattern a few weeks ago and honestly when I sent the feedback I didn’t know what to suggest as next steps. It was true to size, worked beautifully with my fabric choice and the instructions well explained that the process felt effortless. One of those projects that make you think… WAIT, am I actually this good? 🤭And once finished it got quite the debut. Visiting family in Morocco while discovering a country that feels both beautifully chaotic and super charming✨🇲🇦What surprised me most is how familiar so much of it feels culturally: the warmth, the hospitality, the love for craftsmanship, colour, texture and detail 💝🙏👑🕌🪬🏜🐫 Everywhere I look there’s inspiration: from the fabric markets and artisan shops to the embroidery, woven baskets, ceramics and flowing silhouettes in the streets.The Paula dress has been a perfect piece to wear here: playful, elegant, a little cheeky and… still effortless and comfortable in the heat. ⛥ Sewing it was such a joy too.
