Ode to Impermanence 🌈

I’m very happy to share my upcoming solo exhibition, a project that began during my time in Kathmandu and grew out of a reflection that has stayed with me ever since.

Inspired by tormas—Buddhist ritual offerings traditionally made to be ephemeral—I have been creating a series of ceramic sculptures that explore the tension between our desire to preserve and the inevitability of change—a personal attempt to relate differently to what evolves, ends, or disappears.

Opening October 9, 5–9 pm

Through ceramics, I’m exploring what first fascinated me about tormas and what they mean to me: a practice of impermanence and letting go.

Deeply grateful to the monks of Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery for allowing me to observe and film their process. This project is very close to my heart.
