@tpain really blessed the city with a Blokk Party that felt like a festival, reunion, and victory celebration all in one. The performances snapped, the food vendors showed OUT, and the whole place was a vibe for everybody — from kids running around to grown folks two-stepping like rent was due. And me? Somebody our age won’t make it home today. A child will be waiting for a hug. A spouse will be calling a phone that won’t get answered. A heart attack or stroke will turn an ordinary day into a goodbye nobody was ready for. In our late 30s and early 40s…we still have so much living to do.

I used to think we had more time before we had to worry about things like that. Life has humbled me. Take your health seriously, bro. You’re worth taking care of. ❤️🙏🏾 taken in Wakanda Africa by @luqskywalka

What an HONOR. What a JOY. 🙏🏾🔥

Being back on the field working with the legendary Florida A&M University Marching 100 ( @themarching100 ) was truly a full-circle moment for me. There’s something special about being able to pour into a program with so much history, excellence, discipline, and tradition.

Every rep. Every drill. Every drop of sweat. I’m grateful GOD allowed me the opportunity to serve, push, motivate, and be a part of this experience again.

I don’t take moments like this lightly.

ALL GLORY TO GOD for continuing to open doors and place me in rooms, on fields, and in opportunities bigger than anything I could’ve planned for myself. 🙌🏾

I stopped trying to skip steps and started learning to love the process. Every hard day, setback, lesson, and small victory is building the version of me that can handle where I’m headed.

God didn’t put these steps in front of me to slow me down—He placed them there to prepare me. So I’m not rushing the climb anymore. I’m taking it all in…because every step makes the view from the top that much better. taken in Wakanda by @luqskywalka

😤 IRON SHARPENS IRON.

Different goals. Different battles. Same mission.

We show up, push past excuses, and refuse to let anyone settle for the version of themselves they’ve outgrown. We’re not competing with each other—we’re sharpening each other.

God gave us the ability. Discipline gave it direction. Fellowship made quitting uncomfortable.
