Happy birhday Velours Dévorant, happy birthday Arthur!

A year ago, we released our second LP with our precious labels @wv_sorcerer_productions , @cruelnaturerecs , @dayoffrecords @arsenic.solaris , Bagdaddy recs, Araki recs and Aktiver Aufstand in Plastik, on vinyl, CD and cassette.

We were so delighted that this album finally saw the light and so excited to hold it in our hands. Thanks to @liapradal and @terence.hannum for the collaboration on visual.

We performed Velours Dévorant on tour with a lot of joy and wildness. Playing the tracks live has been a pure outlet every time.

__
The vinyl is still available at Bagdaddy recs (NL) and @dayoffrecords but the rest is gone! We still have a few left that you can order on our bandcamp.
__
You can still find the CD version on Araki recs, @wv_sorcerer_productions and @arsenic.solaris .
__
There's only one tape left on @cruelnaturerecs GO !

............Thank you so much to everyone who bought the record!............

We also have some screenprinted posters left, printed at @ldc.lederniercri .
Only available in Marseille because there're a bit large and difficult to send by post.

LOV 🦠

What an unforgettable ride! We were so happy to meet new friends like @cave_in_boston
Thanks to them for giving us the opportunity to play Velours Dévorant live across UK/EU in such beautiful venues.

We also had the chance to cross paths with amazing bands such as @torche_band ,@thoughts.in.percussion , Kou and Dune Rocket 3D!

THANKS to our super roadie and photographer Mathieu @koltess_

THANKS to Ruben, David & Sabrina, Léa, Tom, Floryane, Marie Camille, Josh, Theo, all our welcoming and dear friends who hosted us during our trip.

So much fun sharing daily and noisy life together…

It was super nice to spend some time with our dear and generous Meis from Badaddy Records in Tilburg.

We were also so delighted to be warmly welcomed by @nadjaluv in Berlin. We had a really sweet time sharing that walnut wine after the show with you both Leah & Aidan.

🌞 NEW RELEASE ON ARSENIC SOLARIS 🌞
AS-028

🔥 TORU / BRUTALISM – SPLIT 🔥

Arsenic Solaris unveils a new release that merges sonic experimentation with dense atmospheres: a split between TORU (@torutheband) and BRUTALISM (@terence.hannum) Two distinct entities, united by a shared desire to explore the boundaries of sound.

TORU, a French band spread across Lyon, Nice, and Marseille, delivers a monumental 22-minute piece titled Witches' Cliff. Composed and recorded over two days in the studio, this track is built around an electroacoustic approach and immersive sonic storytelling. Blending hypnotic ambient, drone, and doom/sludge, the band crafts a soundscape that is both eerie and contemplative, where distant echoes and telluric rumblings resonate like a pagan ritual performed by a community of witches atop a cliff, where the ocean crashes below.

BRUTALISM, a solo project based in Baltimore, Maryland (USA), is led by Terence Hannum (Locrian, Holy Circle, Axebreaker...). Inspired by the raw and monolithic aesthetics of the Brutalist architectural movement, Brutalism sculpts a sound that navigates between ambient, drone, and atmospheric black metal, constructing massive sonic structures where distorted layers intertwine with shoegaze textures and ghostly field recordings. His two tracks weave a dense and spectral atmosphere, oscillating between contemplation and subterranean tension, leading the listener through the labyrinthine corridors of a towering concrete and steel megastructure.

💿 Limited edition 180g LP / 250 copies
- 125 gold marble
- 125 black
