Waiting by the window 🐈‍⬛

More lineless art! This is how my cat waits for me to come back from work. He's at the door at 5pm every day 🥺

Behold the tragedy of my attempt to draw Totodile with Copic markers 😩

Apparently this can happen for a variety of reasons including an overfilled or improperly filled marker, storing the markers vertically, a pressure imbalance, or even just the warmth of your hands 😵‍💫

Has anyone else had this happen with Copics, and if so, how did you fix it (the pen and your drawing)?

A black cat for the spooky season! 🐈‍⬛

Did you know that it’s harder for black cats to get adopted? This is due to superstitions and because black cats are harder to photograph well :( However most black cats I have met are super friendly and my beloved first cat was a black locket cat.

Calm Cat is here to help you relax 🩵

Box breathing is when you inhale for four beats, hold for four beats, exhale for four beats, and hold for four beats. It’s a technique used by Navy SEALs to stay calm under pressure because it engages your parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest) and can help you get out of a fight or flight state.
