What a race, what a feeling! 🥹❤️‍🔥 Just want to say THANK YOU and how incredibly proud I am of you @feri_1 !!! It was amazing and such a privilege to share this entire process with you and be an excellent team throughout race day. 🫶🏼 A few thank yous, because even though triathlon looks like an individual sport, you definitely don’t race alone. It’s a team sport that starts months before race day…. Thank you coach @triatlonalo , for the guidance and support throughout the process 🙌🏼 Thank you nutritionist, because I felt AMAZING well hydrated, fueled, and ready to race in a 35°C day @mariavillalonsb @marthaymaria.nut 🔥 Thank you to our photographer and best cheerleader @pau.junco , for capturing the moments and being there every minutes starting 3 am 📸❤️ And thank you to everyone for all your messages, support, and love before and after race day!! 70.3 Northern California @visitredding @ironmanamericas I will see you again 🏊🏼‍♀️🚴🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️❤️‍🔥 #ironman70.3 #redding #triathlon by @luujuncoguera
To all girls 🩷🩷🩷 I heard this audio on a podcast and it instantly reminded me of why I do sports and why I love it so much. It made me realize that a big part of my confidence was built when I was little playing basketball. Somehow, that feeling of believing in myself, pushing myself, and knowing I could do hard things got into me back then… and it never really left. Maybe that’s why sports feel like so much more to me than just training or racing 🩷 go and do your sport , BUT DO IT ! Happy Monday and let’s encourage that female sport power #female #femaleathletes #athlete by @luujuncoguera

Open water session 🌊 The ocean teaches you things the pool never will, patience, rhythm, and how to stay calm when things feel a little uncomfortable. Open water is not about swimming perfect… it’s about learning to adapt. A few tips for your next swim: 📍 Start smooth and controlled 📍 Sight often, but stay relaxed 📍 Find a steady breathing rhythm 📍 Identify landmarks (buoys, buildings, etc) to help with direction and safety Confidence in open water comes from time in the water. DM for triathlon coach and community @phoenix_endurance_usa 📸 thanks for the great shots @ce.juncosb #TriathlonTraining #OpenWaterSwim #triathlon by @luujuncoguera
