Except for my family visiting (especially my girls) pure joy comes when I get to see the Blue Angels or these magnificent Clydesdales visiting my tri- state area. I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to see them (just a few days ago in the same area someone offered to get me an ambulance), but I made it. I even spent about 30 minutes talking to a gentleman about our travels throughout the area, and was delighted he knew the genealogical history of my ancestors that landed in Maryland in the 1600s and brought the Catholic faith to Kentucky and beyond. There are no coincidences. My heart needed this today. by @luv4tswift13

Yesterday afternoon I held Alie (Alison) as she left my side playing music and telling her how much I loved her. She popped out from under an ivy bush on Christmas Eve several years ago with snow & ice and ran to me on my parent’s front porch. She stayed glued to me from that day on, except for an adventure she had with Kyra once & Alie actually broke through my window to get back into the house. She would sit in the window if I was out of the house for a minute, & just loved cuddling. I miss her little sound she made when I came back into a room, or when I was on the phone. Despite surgery, her cancer returned & it was clear this was a cancer we couldn’t beat. We spent her last days with a lot of cuddling as I sang to her and thanked her for choosing me. My heart is broken. I told her to enjoy her adventures with Kyra, Dizzy, Izzy and Cali. Fuck cancer. by @luv4tswift13

Watching @taylorswift first 2 episodes of her documentary and my mama’s heart just burst for @kamnsaunders and his mother. Being an OG fan since 2006, one gets attached to the band, crew, singers, & dancers over time & he’s a jewel. Her pride, his love……. by @luv4tswift13

I’m very, very slowly going through lifetimes of items not only of my own, but of the generations before me. Yesterday I found this old Sony tape recorder (& three Walkman’s lol) along with a lot of miniature tapes. It’s been at least 20 years since I used this, but the batteries still worked in it !!! I’m so hoping these contain some great interviews. #genealogy #decluttering #sony by @luv4tswift13

I understand the assignment. I’ve been volunteering, as I have since 2008, but wanted to say why: I voted straight blue ticket (including school board, state court justices, dog catcher if they were on the ballot), & I don’t usually do that. I voted Harris/Walz for human rights, for disability rights, for LGBTQ+ rights. I live on disability and I know the republicans plans since Reagan that “trickle down” tax plans do NOT reach those who need it most & tariffs will make us all pay more. I want more regulations regarding immigration, but I also know the Republicans plan to deport at the numbers they desire will actually cause all of us much more than anyone wants to admit. Have we thought what their immigration plan would actually look like?? My health insurance is far from perfect, but Trump, Vance & the GOP would make it impossible for me to even qualify for health insurance. I voted for Democrats because they don’t want to be in the room with girls & women when they make decisions about their body regarding pregnancy, birth control. I believe every person should carry their faith as they choose to, and I will not bow down to Christian Nationalism. I voted not only for my beliefs, but for those I love and their future 💜 #harriswaltz2024 by @luv4tswift13

It’s been a challenging time (my girls having to cancel their trip, health issues including a 3 am fall flat on my back in my living room with no idea how I’d get up, plumbers so often in my place I know their lives now), but I refuse to let myself be defeated. I’ve been doing so much in a healthier space in the last month & I can feel the inner changes. Despite back & knee issues I made it up a challenging hill for myself Sunday and nature greeted me with a lavender sunset. Tears were streaming down my cheeks as I sang a meaningful song, and I swear I could feel my angels on that hilltop with me. This is a year of recreating my life, my choices, my relationships, my space. #onelittleword #health #soul by @luv4tswift13

I knew I wanted to really try using planners this year. It took me a couple weeks to find what I wanted- one that starts on Sunday, gives me some roadmap so I don’t get lost in my over analyzing thoughts, options to use stickers, etc on the pages if I choose to, and clear spaces for vision boards, creative spaces , etc. I am thrilled with my @passionplanner that arrived today! I’ve since learned they also have many free PDF charts I can add to meet my needs. Glad to be part of the #pashfam by @luv4tswift13

My first Christmas without my parents, and family living all over the country means I couldn’t stay home today in all my feelings. This week has been ALOT, and it’s not over yet. I don’t have a car and grocery shopping itself is hard, but this holiday season trying to complete things is even harder. The nicest young man at @target was so concerned about how I was ever going to get my shopping home today he actually called a manager to see if they could help with a ride. Now I knew that wasn’t possible, and I accept that trying to get through the roads between here & home are dangerous at the least, but it is what it is. As I repacked everything in the cafe I sat for awhile to enjoy one of these. He was reminder today that not all people are too busy to not be kind. #decemberdaily2023 #grateful by @luv4tswift13

It’s a simple little frog, but not really. This little frog sat on my mother’s coffee lid every day, and she told me it’s meaning often. My father had Alzheimer’s and out of the blue while leaving a favorite restaurant Dad bought this for mother very unexpectedly. Two days later (this date) we lost dad in his sleep on mother’s birthday. Today would have been her birthday, which is really hard this year, but also today is the anniversary of losing dad. I miss them both terribly today, but I’m trusting that our mother is finally celebrating her birthday the way she’d want- with dad beside her. by @luv4tswift13

To every Hoosier who voted for those who would support this bill… I just don’t understand. I don’t understand why your faith is allowed to be more than mine. I don’t understand why I would never take away your right to choose to in all circumstances to carry a pregnancy no matter health or situation, but I am not allowed to make that decision for myself. I know personally my own situations that you don’t, and I know professionally situations that you don’t and my heart is beyond angry… it is broken tonight. The unintended consequences that are beginning as a result of this …. just watch the next few years. If we are unable to stop them myself and members of my own family will be less than. So please don’t tell me right now about Christian love or faith or compassion. My heart is grieving today, but tomorrow I will fight. by @luv4tswift13
