Dearest Amma,

Happy Birthday!
We continue to save a seat for you here on earth—a front-row seat to the dreams you so lovingly held for your grandbabies, now unfolding one by one.

This birthday would have been especially exciting for you. Just ten days before today, you officially became a Great-Grandma! Laurence and Jamie welcomed the most beautiful baby girl, Makena Violet. I can only imagine how your eyes would have sparkled with joy and your voice squealing with glee with this news!

Oh and your Terence, he is beginning beautiful new adventures with Hayley! You would be so proud of all his accomplishments. Jaedon continues to pursue his passion for cars, just like his Ampa. How cool it would have been to see you and Ampa together at one of his car shows!

As for your girls... Kiara got her very first summer job! We are so incredibly proud of her, and I know you would be too. And your youngest, Kaedyn... can you believe she's heading into middle school? She's creating beautiful artwork, thriving in school, and growing into such an amazing young lady.

Then there's your grandpups.. they continue to bring us all joy, despite the occasional mischief. I know you would've love them by your side and giving them endless treats!

So many things have changed, yet one thing remains the same. We miss you so very much every day. There is something bittersweet about every milestone, each of them that you don't get to be a part of. But in my heart, I continue to believe that you have the best seat in the house in every single one of them.

We love you, Amma. We miss you every moment of the day. Someday we will get to celebrate again... together. But until then, we will always save you a seat, earthside. by @luv_elle

🌻 He lives! Just as all of God’s creation was meant to live. Not one, but all were breathed into existence with purpose. We were not placed here to stand above one another, but beside each other—as keepers of our brothers and sisters, and as faithful stewards of all that God has made.

This Easter, may we remember that His resurrection is not only a promise of life, but a calling—to care, to protect, and to love every living thing entrusted to us.
