Everyone, please help me congratulate the Waterside Class of 2026!

This class is incredibly special to me because they are the first class I ever taught from start to finish and had the privilege of watching graduate.

Back in college, I designed my very first T-shirt shortly after becoming discouraged in my academic journey. This was after COVID, when many of us returned to school feeling disconnected and uncertain about the future. I fell out of love with school and struggled to see its purpose in my life. That’s where the original LUV “COLLEGE” design came from.

LuvLoud was born from the idea that no matter what season of life you’re in, you should love what you do with all your heart and give it everything you’ve got. It’s about loving yourself, loving the people around you, and loving the process loudly, even when you don’t fully understand where the journey is taking you.

Looking back, that’s exactly what I had to learn during that season of my life.

But three years later, I’m grateful I didn’t give up. I stayed the course even when I couldn’t understand where the road was leading. Today, I’m a teacher, which means I never really left school after all.

This year wasn’t easy. I moved to a new city, started a new job, and built new relationships from the ground up. Through it all, God sustained me. He sustained my students, and He sustained me.

I am forever grateful for this experience and everything it has taught me. These students will always hold a special place in my heart. They taught me far more than they will ever know.

To the Waterside Class of 2026: Keep showing up. Keep believing. Keep loving the journey, even when it doesn’t make sense. Trust God’s timing, trust the process, and never give up on yourself.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! I am proud of each and every one of you, and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for your future. by @luvloudclo
