I am so excited to share that I’ll be running the 2026 Chicago Marathon with Girls on the Run! 💜
I’m running 26.2 miles to support confidence, kindness, and self-belief — for every girl who deserves to feel strong, brave, and seen.
If you’d like to cheer me on and be part of this mission, my fundraising link is in my bio. 🫶🏽
I can’t wait to share this journey with you — your encouragement means the world! @chimarathon @gotrchicago @girlsontheruninternational #marathon #chicago #mission #fundraiser by @luvmina11

THIS GUY. My man, my man, my man. 🥹❤️

I genuinely enjoyed most of my marathon experience because I have a supportive man by my side. Were the early mornings and long runs annoying? Absolutely. 😂 Bought me my first Garmin because an Apple Watch can’t handle my long runs 🙄 and even replaced my phone because he knows I need my race-day content. 🤭
He followed me on a bike throughout the marathon with my stepson, making sure I was fueled and good to go. I had to give Joey his own appreciation post because he really dealt with my ass through this whole journey. 😂 Love you, Babe! @martinez.joee_ 🥰 by @luvmina11

Let’s talk about my WHY ✨

In 2024, I found myself through running. I felt strong, confident, and motivated in a way I never had before. I wanted to share this new love for running, and that’s when I found Girls on the Run. I knew I needed to bring it to my school, and with the support of my school team we made it happen. 🫶🏽

Coaching Girls on the Run really is so much fun! Our 3rd–5th graders have the biggest personalities, and we love singing along to Olivia Rodrigo and Katseye together! ☺️

I ran the Chicago Marathon for Girls on the Run, my daughter, and the girls in our community. Every girl deserves a space to build confidence, support one another, and discover what she’s capable of.

These are some voice notes my girls left me. Hearing their messages while running 26.2 miles was such a beautiful reminder of why this program matters. 💜

Thank you to everyone who donated to this amazing organization. If you ever get the opportunity to run a marathon, I highly encourage you to run for a charity. Having a cause bigger than yourself makes the experience that much more meaningful. 🥹💖 @gotrchicago @chimarathon by @luvmina11

10/10/26 ❤️The day before the marathon was spent with friends and family, a 5K shakeout with @vaqueros.rc family❤️‍🔥, a carb-loading dinner at my sister’s🍝, and getting some rest with city views at my sister-in-law’s. 🌃 In between, I was receiving texts and calls from friends and family sending me words of encouragement. All that love and support carried me through every single one of those 26.2 miles. 🥹🥰 by @luvmina11
