Unfortunately not everyone still has their mother around or even likes them... But I do. 🫶🏽

Everyone has asked me how Hawaii was & what was my favorite thing... That's been hard to answer bc the whole thing was an amazing experience! Each island is totally different & special in its own way.

What stands out the most to me though is simply driving through Hawaii (driving with Aloha), with the windows down, listening to music, screaming out every couple minutes - "LOOK AT IT!!" "would you just look at it!!!".... Feeling free as a bird, with my Mom beside me!!! 😆

I will never forget that feeling. 💜🌈

We had so much fun exploring, getting dolled up for dinners, learning about Hawaiian culture, experiencing/observing the wildlife, shopping, & taking in breathtaking views.

Even though she had to do everything in her own power to hold herself back from NOT feeding the 1000000s of wild chickens, 😂, I think she still had just as much fun as I did, if not more!

For that, I am so happy 😊.

You're so lucky you travel so much! - well I'd like to say it's because I've done accounting full-time for about 15 years now so I'm good at budgeting my money and I also bartend part-time so I make good play money... But in all honesty, I am very "lucky".

Lucky as in my life has aligned in such a way that it's given me many many amazing opportunities to travel because it's something I love to experience & continue to choose it for myself.

My "luck" didn't always look like luck to me though. Almost 10 years ago I got "roped into" one of those HIGH PRESSURE SALES timeshares! What got me was the thought of being able to take my friends & family on vacation for "free". My biggest love language is Quality time & when you add traveling to it - my heart explodes! So when my loved ones give the easiest excuse of "I can't" - I could be able to provide the solution of "but you can!". 🙃

Well this was before I even bought a house (you know, more important things life) & immediately after, I felt like I had made a huge mistake. I was incredibly embarrassed so I didn't tell my parents right away & by the time they were able to advise me, the buyers remorse period was over & I was stuck. I was young, ignorant, & vulnerable. The perfect "victim". So this experience was perceived as very traumatic for me for many years after.

I even looked into lawyers to get out but that was only going to cost me ALOT more & drain any savings I had left - so again, I was essentially stuck...

Eventually, I got tired of living with anger & finally surrendered to the negative perception of "life happening to me" & decided to see the positive of "life happening for me"... If I was going to be "stuck", I might as well make the best of it.

I've gone to amazing places I never would have on my own bc of the limited options I have to choose from. I've continued to prioritize my love for traveling even when I could easily use excuses not to. I've been able to take my family, friends, & partners to places with "free" boarding when they easily could say it's too expen

Not every vacation I go on is through my timeshare but it's definitely set the tone for many opportunities to arise from it. taken in Kauai, Hawaii by @luvrel1

Today was definitely a day to remember. 🤙🏽🐢🌎

One turtle was already beached when we arrived. After saying hello, I decided to get in the water bc it's HOT. The first 10 feet is murkey water so I couldn't see great. I walked right into another turtle riding the wave in! 🌊 Scared me but so magical!! What Perfect timing! 🌈 After that I decided to get out the snorkel gear & cruise around. I got to see another one swim/float past plus a ton of pretty colorful fish & sea critters! 🤿

What an experience!!! 🤸🏽‍♀️

Definitely feeling blessed today! 🫶🏽
