“Thanks be to God for all His blessings.” I want to start by giving all honor and glory to God. Without Him, none of this would have been possible. A verse that has guided me through these years is Jeremiah 29:11 — “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope.” When I came to Davis & Elkins, I arrived with high hopes and expectations. Coming from a background like mine, I was searching for a new opportunity—one that would allow me to grow, to thrive, and to make a difference. And I did just that. I’ve been able to leave an everlasting mark on this place—one that I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. To my friends: thank you for the laughs, the memories, and the support. These past four years have been unforgettable because of you. To my coaches and teachers: thank you for believing in me and helping shape the person I’ve become. But most importantly, to my family—thank you. Without your love, sacrifice, and unwavering belief in me, none of this would have been possible. I will forever love all of you. Goodbye, Elkins. You’ll always be a part of me. 😘 #32out by @luvv.jjackiiie
