In 4 days, not only will I be turning 22, but I’ll be graduating from the #1 Public HBCU, North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. Thank you NCA&T, for not only preparing me for the real world, but for giving me the best four years of my life. To every person who contributed to my undergraduate memories, believed in me, and introduced me to life changing opportunities, I am forever grateful and a phone call away.

Nursing is more than a major—it’s a lifestyle. Only those who’ve lived it truly understand. I always say nursing is top five hardest majors and I’ll forever stand on that. It challenged everything I believed about myself, but God made a way like He always does. The late nights, earlier mornings, all-nighters, endless exams, and over 800 clinical hours taught me how to multitask, sacrifice, and stay committed. Most importantly, I kept my promise to myself… I did everything I said I would, ON TIME. This is for those who said I couldn’t—and for anyone who thinks they can’t. Next stop… Charlotte, NC 🩺

To the sororities that chose and poured into me—thank you for instilling determination, support, and sisterhood. To Chi Eta Phi, thank you for trusting my ideas and supporting me throughout my nursing journey, I wouldn’t have made it through if it wasn’t for your guidance. We put Chi on the map like we said we would! To Alpha Phi, thank you for making younger me and my auntie proud, seeing my potential, and blessing me with the most solid sisters I could ask for. Thank you for teaching me lifelong lessons and giving me the chance to serve my community for a lifetime, know that the work doesn’t stop here.
