Ended first quarter of 2023 by attending the Wedding Intensive Workshop @bloomschooltoronto. Definitely a dream come true to be mentored by Becky @blushandbloom. (*fangirl moment*). Team was very supportive in ensuring we have the most amazing, life-changing and absolutely enriching experience. The 3day workshop was encompassing and went beyond my expectations. Becky is so grounded, very generous in sharing her knowledge, resources, experience, very authentic, and most of all she genuinely cared for us as we learn. Literally last year, I would scroll through their page and website and hoped someday I can attend their workshop. Now, Im a graduate YEY. Honestly speaking I'll redo it all over again just to relive the vibe.

Im still giddy and everything still feels surreal. I am very thankful and grateful. I can't wait to see what's in store for us and looking forward to the next one. 💐

Throwback Thursday: Guitar may be out of tune, but I’m attuned with the goodness of God.

Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Jesus, for Your grace and goodness. Thank You for always being a loyal friend we can call on. Thank You for Your faithfulness and steadfast love, and for the favor You have given us.

I pray for peace in these coming elections, for protection from every form of evil and the lies of the enemy. Send us Your angels, Lord. May Your light of hope and mercy prevail, and may the sound of revival sweep across Toronto, our nation of Canada, and the rest of a hurting world.

Father, I pray for every E.M. and every Jane Doe. Remind us of the great comfort found only in You. You are a just God and a great provider of things we cannot even put into words. Heal our hearts from brokenness, renew our minds, and restore our spirits. Shield us from the noise and pain of this world, and let Your peace rest upon our hearts and minds.

Show us the hope and light that come only from You. No matter how hard things get, You always make a way, Jesus—our Great Way Maker and Miracle Worker. In all things, may Your name be glorified now and forever.

Amen by @luxbymb

Let’s take a moment of silence and prayer to honor the brave police and peace officers who put their lives on the line to serve our nation. Today, I’m holding their families in my heart and praying they find comfort and grace. To every officer who selflessly puts others first: thank you for protecting our communities and keeping us safe. May God bless and protect our nation always 🙏💙 taken in Canada by @luxbymb

Bringing fresh blooms into your space isn’t just about picking what looks pretty—it’s about finding stems that complement your home’s architecture, interior palette, and vessel styles.

Here are a few quick tips to keep in mind next time you select flowers for your living space:
✨ 1. Prioritize Freshness: Look for firm stems, tight blooms, and vibrant foliage to ensure maximum longevity.
🏺 2. Match the Vase: Let your vessel guide your stem selection—tall sculptural stems for cylinder vases, structural blooms for low bowls.
🎨 3. Honor Your Color Palette: Select tones that seamlessly complement your interior decor, whether you prefer soft neutrals or bold accents.
🌾 4. Align with Your Home’s Style: Match the floral mood to your space—minimalist lines for contemporary spaces, organic textures for warm interiors.
⏳ 5. Mind Longevity: Combine long-lasting varieties with short-lived focal blooms so your arrangement evolves gracefully over time.
💬 6. Consult Your Florist: We’re always here to curate custom stem selections tailored precisely to your space and vessel collection.

Can we just say how short and sweet Canadian summers are? Well, to us, it is double double, the sweetness like our maple syrup. But hey, not because Fall Equinox is almost here does it mean our Canadian warmth, sunshine, politeness and kindness has to end. We can be kind, respectful, apologetic no matter how you hurt or threaten us. We might even send you some sorry and maple syrup back. Because being Canadian is our true north. And we are not sorry about it.

Also, it is and always be Lake Ontario. Duh.
Yes, not all Canadians are nice. Ask our 🦆 you silly goose.
