✨ New Year, Same Goals (kinda 😅) Stepping into 2025 with a refreshed mindset and… let’s be honest, the same 2024 resolutions I still need to conquer: 🌙 Sleep better: In bed by 11 PM and getting at least 8 glorious hours of beauty sleep 🥗 Eat healthier: Less meat, less fat, less processed food - more nourishing meals 💪 Move daily: Even if it’s just a 10-minute stretch or my physiotherapy session - Progress > Perfection 📚 Skill-up: Photography, videography, AI, and leveling up my Chinese Mandarin! 🙏 Be more grateful: Celebrating what I already have instead of dissatisfaction and looking for happiness elsewhere #halffull It’s all about taking once small step at a time because big changes don’t happen overnight. I learnt a new word today: fractal - which means “a curve or geometric figure, each part of which has the same statistical character as the whole. Fractals are useful in modeling structures (such as eroded coastlines or snowflakes) in which similar patterns recur at progressively smaller scales, and in describing partly random or chaotic phenomena such as crystal growth, fluid turbulence, and galaxy formation.” It reminds me that every day is a fraction of our whole life and each thought, speech and action is part of a pattern that, step by step, leads life to one way or another. Thus, we should be mindful with how and what we think, say and do daily to build healthy habits and a more meaningful life! Christmas is coming and we tend to over-buy as being pushed by a consumer society and social media. I’ve been wanting to add a Chanel mini classic flap to my handbag collection. I’ve already had a mini Reissue and it’s seriously one of my favourite and most worn bags for its aesthetics and versatility! I was thus so delighted to partner with @kdj_paris - my long time trusted luxury reseller to discover their current mini classic flaps selection! Here I tried 4 styles: 1. It seems like I’m only on Instagram when I don’t (have to) work 🥲 It’s been so long since the last time I posted something here. Didn’t mean to “post & ghost” but I had several severe ankle sprains that haven’t allowed me to walk normally for more than 2 years. I’ve seen it all: so many doctors and medical tests, plaster, wheelchair, crutches… and was so depressed by the idea of being forever “disabled” that keeping my Instagram updated was far from my priorities. Time passed by and things were getting better. I went back to social media and felt rather distant with all the contents I used to consume (and create). I guess not being able to walk hence to work and to live normally during a long period of time made me enjoy simpler things in life rather than endless luxury unboxings (my feed is now full of cats 😂). I still love beautiful things though, and strongly believe that classic and well-made items are key to sustainable consumption. I’m looking forward to (re)discovering your channels and (re)connecting with you all! Choosing this picture because it belongs to the same series taken in 2022 as the previous one on my grid to symbolise the continuity. “People are disappointing.” (Inventing Anna) Have you watched this series on Netflix? It’s about a girl who created the perfect life of an European heiress, wearing all designer and being invited to Fashion weeks, travelling the world and always staying at 5-star hotels etc. With that image, she succeeded to enter the network of rich and powerful elites in New York and almost received a $40M loan to invest into her business project! 💸 It’s a pretty interesting series that pictures how social media works today, how everyone becomes a brand and the image of ourselves that we create and sell to the world isn’t necessarily who we really are.
