Hi friends, it's me, Leilani! Owner, baker, cake designer, content creator- basically the one woman show behind Luxe Dessert Studio! 🤣 And yep, that's me working on my own wedding cake halfway through getting ready. You can't tell from my calm & composed face, but I was freaking the hell out! Lol

Baking, for me, started as a hobby after I had my son, which soon grew into a passion. Once he started pre school I didn't want to go back to customer service. I wanted to continue baking. So I did something completely crazy and applied for a job as a pastry cook at an Italian restaurant in Epcot with ZERO professional culinary knowledge and no expectations on a call back. And within 2 years I was promoted, working along side the executive pastry chef, creating amazing desserts for the festivals (like the Prosecco mousse, honey mousse, and strawberry tiramisu!)

I was at the top of my game, enjoying my vacation when Covid hit. I had so many ideas for the next festival that never saw the light of day bc they shut us down. None of us expected it to be for good. 🥺

I started baking from home for close family and friends during the holidays. It felt good. I felt like I had purpose again. And with the help of my husband, Luxe Dessert Studio was born. Thanks to some awesome local groups, I was able to extend my reach and grow into something I never imagined it would be today. Not only do I get to continue doing what I love, but I get to enjoy my family more.

If there's one thing I learned from all this, it's that it's never too late to be bad at something new.

I couldn't be more grateful for the orders and inquiries that pour in daily. Our little business has grown so much in just a year. So on today, which happens to be my birthday 😜, I wanted to celebrate all of our success and all of YOU that made this dream possible! 🍾🥂

THANK YOU 💖😘
