I've had the privilege of serving a vulnerable community this summer, and it's been a profoundly enriching experience that has left me feeling empowered and inspired each week. Today, I departed with a deeper sense of spiritual maturity and wise words from a friend: "In the midst of challenging times, take a moment to reflect on the goodness of God. Focusing on your blessings will remind you that God's goodness will prevail time and time again." This simple yet powerful mindset shift has the potential to be truly transformative. It resonated deeply with me today, reminding me of my own blessings and the opportunity to pay it forward. Thank you, Lisa Marshall, for inviting me to be part of Fighting Homelessness in yet another meaningful way 🩵🤍. Transformation can begin with even the smallest acts, such as a smile or a brief conversation, and can occur anywhere, at any time. Blessed to be able to see Brayden play yesterday in person!! He is learning a new role as a relief pitcher.
Bases loaded-1 out. They called for #18 to 🛑.
2 batters 2 outs. Job well done!
2nd inning even better no hits-no walks and another strike out. Earning his place one or two innings at a time. Season is off to a great start ⚾️⚾️! by @luxelivingnow

So surreal watching #18 take the field and play his first college game! His name, the lights, the fans. Never gets old, but the best part is knowing how hard he works everyday and he knows how to seize each opportunity. First freshman pitcher this season. Did his job.
