A little update from me 💅🏼📚

As of 5th October, my working hours will be changing slightly due to starting a full-time degree alongside the salon.

I’ve condensed my hours as much as possible so I can still fit all of my lovely clients in, just across fewer days. This will allow me to keep dedicated days purely for studying, and dedicated days purely for giving you girls the best appointments possible 🤍

Because of this, flexibility and last-minute availability will unfortunately be much more limited going forward, so please try to book appointments in advance where you can.

I will also be opening some Saturdays, these will be every other weekend and limited to just 1–2 appointments each time. These aren’t available to book online just yet, so if you know you’ll need a Saturday appointment, please message me in advance.

Hi, I’m Mikhaila, the hands (and heart!) behind the nails at Luxe 💅✨

It’s been a year since my first Get to Know Me post, so I thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce myself, especially with so many lovely new faces joining my little corner of the internet.

After being a nail client myself for over 15 years and trying so many of the big brands, I finally decided to take the plunge and get trained in the one that felt like the perfect match for me: Bio Sculpture. It aligned with everything I loved about healthy, beautiful nails and I haven’t looked back since.

A little about me personally… I’m a total book lover, if it’s a romantasy or a dark serial-killer thriller, that’s where you’ll find me disappearing for hours. I’m also a full-on Peloton addict (fair warning: I will talk about it 😂). When I’m not in the nail cabin, I’m usually squeezing in a workout, baking sourdough, being a football mum or out walking the dogs.

Speaking of dogs, Millie was the OG greeter at the cabin, always ready for cuddles. And now we’ve added Dottie the Rottie to the family. She may look a bit intimidating (Rotties do have the look!) but she’s honestly the biggest softie. She’ll be snoozing in her bed during your appointment unless you decide you want to say hello.

One of my favourite things about what I do is seeing your nail health improve over time and watching you get braver with colours, sparkles or nail art you’d never normally choose. And if you’re a ‘same colour every time’ person, that’s perfect too. My goal is simple: to make sure you leave with gorgeous nails and a smile on your face. Because let’s be honest… getting your nails done is basically therapy, right?

✨ Important Update: Deposit Now Required for Appointments ✨

I’ve made the decision to start requesting a deposit from NEW clients due to a recent increase in last-minute cancellations and no-shows. Beginning November 1st, all new appointments will require a £10 deposit to secure the booking, which will be deducted from the total on the day of your appointment.

If you need to reschedule and provide more than 48 hours’ notice, the deposit will simply transfer to your new booking. However for cancellations within 48 hours or for no-shows, the deposit will be forfeited. In these cases, any future bookings will need to be paid upfront to secure the appointment.

I truly value everyone’s time and appreciate your understanding, as this step will help ensure smoother scheduling for all clients. Thank you! by @luxenht

The base colour is actually a really bright pinky-purple, with the cat eye over the top and I loved them.
