POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We are thrilled to announce that our new album “Apollo & Marsyas” will be released in early October by @genuinclassics ! 🥁💿💿💿💿🥁

Last week, together with the team from @luxstudioproductions , we filmed several videos for the album in a truly spectacular location: the collection of plaster casts of ancient sculptures at the Archaeological Institute of the University of Göttingen. 🏛️🎬
On Apollo & Marsyas, we tell the story of our namesake Marsyas, who challenged Apollo to a musical contest—with fatal consequences. It was an incredible experience to film surrounded by Greek sculptures, some of which even depict scenes from this very myth. The atmosphere of the collection could not have been a more fitting backdrop for bringing this story to life.
A big thank you to the Archaeological Institute of the University of Göttingen for their warm hospitality and for allowing us to work in such a remarkable setting.
We can’t wait to share the final videos with you. Until then, here are a few behind-the-scenes impressions from the shoot! 📸

Everything is blooming. Everything is green. Everyone is sneezing 🌸

We wish you time for meadows, gardens, forests – and for those small moments when you pause for a second and think: June is doing a pretty good job.

Our latest release, “Ego Flos Campi”, is available on all streaming platforms. Hope you enjoy it. taken in Westkreuz Leipzig by @luxstudioproductions

TEXT:

Twas on a Monday morning
And there I saw my darling，
She looked so neat and charming
In ev’ry high degree.
She looked so neat and nimble O
A-washing of her linen O，
Dashing away with the smoothing iron
She stole my heart away.

’Twas on a Tuesday morning…
…A-hanging out her linen O…

’Twas on a Wednesday morning…
…A-starching of her linen O…

’Twas on a Thursday morning…
…A-ironing of her linen O…

’Twas on a Friday morning…
…A-folding of her linen O…

’Twas on a Saturday morning…
…A-airing of her linen O…

’Twas on a Sunday morning…
…A-wearing of her linen O…

Dashing away with the smoothing iron
She stole my heart away.
