Today we shine the spotlight on @taytthecreator 💐. Hailing from Long Island and armed with an MFA from the University of Delaware, her art is fearless—blending vivid color, deep emotion, and powerful storytelling into pieces that stay with you long after you’ve seen them.

🎨 From works like “Sitting on Memories” (an interactive oil-on-wood piece) to “What is Masculinity”, Taylor’s paintings invite us to pause, reflect, and rethink how we view memory, identity, and culture.

🏆 Her artistry has already been recognized, including winning Best in Show at the CAMP Rehoboth “Ignite the Light” Exhibition—proof of how her vision resonates far beyond the canvas. We also had the chance to sit down with Taylor at the Black Girls Art Show, where she spoke about her inspiration and how she channels lived experiences into her work. Her words and her art both remind us that creativity can be both deeply personal and powerfully universal. This week, Luxuree Arts is giving flowers to someone who embodies purpose, power, and passion in everything he creates…

🌹 Bryan C. Lee Jr. — raised in Trenton, NJ.

From the heart of Trenton to the national stage, Bryan has become a force in design, culture, and justice. As President of NOMA (National Organization of Minority Architects) for 2025–2026, he’s building spaces that speak to the people — not just for them. He’s leading with vision, courage, and a love for community that’s impossible to ignore.

But Bryan isn’t only an architect — he’s a true artist and photographer.
He paints stories.
He captures emotion.
He turns still art into movement and protest into beauty.
Through his lens and brush, he documents culture, struggle, joy, and truth — always pushing for justice in the process.

His art speaks with intention. His leadership moves with integrity. His work reminds the world that design is protest, design is power, and design is people.

And on a personal note — I just want to say how honored and proud I am to call Bryan my cousin. Watching him rise, lead, and create on this level is inspiring beyond words. Trenton roots, worldwide impact — that’s legacy in real time.

Clash of the Canvas was more than a competition — it was ART, ENERGY, COMMUNITY, and CULTURE all in one room.

From the artists creating live, to the crowd showing love, to everybody giving each other their flowers 💐… the energy was exactly what I envisioned when I created this.

This was the first Clash of the Canvas, but definitely not the last.

Thank you to every artist who stepped up, everybody who helped bring this vision to life, and everyone who came through and supported.

The paint has dried, the votes are in, and the first Clash of the Canvas is officially in the books! 🔥

What started as an idea turned into a room full of creativity, competition, community, and some SERIOUS talent.

Now it’s time to give flowers to our Top 3. 💐🎨

🥇 1ST PLACE — BRIAN MILLS
Brian came to compete and walked away as the first-ever Clash of the Canvas Champion! 🏆

Along with his 1st Place winnings, Brian will also sit down with Luxuree Arts for a special artist interview, giving everyone a chance to hear more about the artist behind the canvas, his journey, his work, and what’s next.

The champ gets the spotlight. 🎥🏆

🥈 2ND PLACE — NAIROBI
Remember the name. 💫

At only 14 years old, Nairobi stepped onto the Clash of the Canvas stage for her first-ever art competition and walked away with 2nd place.

A young phenom who showed creativity, confidence, and composure beyond her years. This may have been her first time on the stage, but something tells us it definitely won’t be her last.

The future is BRIGHT. 🌟🎨

Creative Queen energy. 👑

She brought her own style, personality, and creativity into the battle and earned her spot in the Top 3.

She showed exactly what Clash of the Canvas is about — creating under pressure, trusting your vision, and giving the crowd something to remember. 🎨🔥

Congratulations to all three of our winners — and flowers to EVERY artist who stepped up to those easels and helped make the first Clash something special.

This was bigger than a competition. We’re building a platform for artists.
