POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I had intended on making a Spotify playlist for the first episode of LV, but some of the tracks were not there. Instead, I put the episode up on Mixcloud. Link in bio! Second episode/volumes three and four are coming soon. Going into an entirely different direction for it, but I think you’ll still enjoy it. Anywho, thank you to all of you who tuned in two weeks ago as it aired live! It was absolutely surreal to hear it in my car as I drove around and tuned in; it’s been a dream of mine to be on the FM airwaves, so I am elated that I’ve checked something off the bucket list. Love you all! by @luxury.elite

The tracklist for tonight’s episode of Lux Visions. Thanks to all of you who tuned in, and to @wrfl881 for the opportunity. There will definitely be more volumes in the future, with a surprise or two in store...😉 For those of you who missed it, do not fret! I will post it to Mixcloud soon and share it with all of you. xoxo! by @luxury.elite

Won’t be the usual Neon Nights fare, but it will most certainly make you dance. Will I see you there? I hope so. Love you. Also, while I am here, obligatory: black lives matter, and if you do not agree, you can always unfollow me and find another artist to listen to. For the rest of you, we’ll be talking again soon. I know I said that in the past, but I finally got these computer issues worked out and a sudden surge of inspiration may be working in my favor very, very soon. xoxo, Lux! by @luxury.elite

Hello from Luxworld, where I have been dealing with some sort of block. I was ready to post about Minidisc Day right before midnight to get you guys excited about the Prism’s AMAZING LOOKING Minidisc, but they came out much earlier than I expected, and they have already sold out. Thank you to those who bought them up so quickly! And I am so sorry to those of you who missed it. Perhaps there will be additional editions! Another announcement for you all as well: you may or may not be familiar with @nobodyherefilm. If you’re not familiar, get familiar, because quite a few people you know and love will be involved in it. I’m doing an audio interview for it myself! I’ll likely be speaking of the early days of watching the scene blossom as a curious/excited outsider, my contribution to it as Luxury Elite, the days of running Fortune 500 and broadcasting Neon Nights, and much more. I’m so excited and nervous! More on that soon. Finally...I apologize for my frequent disappearances and my negligence; it’s been admittedly hard to try to get back into the swing of the social media world, and I get so overwhelmed that I neglect it more and make things worse. I hope you all understand. I hope all of you are doing well, and I am sending you all sorts of love. by @luxury.elite

Good morning, my kind friends, hope all of you are doing well. My apologies for not being around too much to comment/respond, the IRL world has been a hectic one for me as of late. I miss you guys! I am here to tell you this wonderful news: a dream comes true for me on Saturday. I am one of the many having a cassette released for @cassettestoreday! I am so elated, and so honored that @mypetflamingo gave me this opportunity. This time around, I decided to give you all two releases that have never been on tape, that are near and dear to my heart, Rose Quartz (originally self-released) and Blind Date (originally released through Ailanthus Recordings). Let me know when you snag it! Also coming that day is a compilation from @mypetflamingo called Flamingo Funk vol. 2. Unfortunately, I couldn’t contribute an unreleased track, but Salut is on it! If you’d like to hear it digitally, @padchennington premiered it yesterday on YouTube. Check it out! And to purchase one of these or both, make sure you go to My Pet Flamingo’s Bandcamp page this Saturday. I’m figuring both will be selling out pretty quickly. Again, sorry for the radio silence as of late. Did you all get to snag Empire Building, by the way?! I am so proud to see the first Fortune 500 release get such a beautiful physical upgrade. I can’t wait to get my copy in the mail. 🥰 Until next time, friends, au revoir! by @luxury.elite

Another release is out today via @mypetflamingo. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the project: Lipstick Elite is myself and @skeleton_lipstick, though I refer to it as his Frankenstein project, consisting of wonderful, bizarro reconstructions of old Lux tracks. It’s a treat! It was originally released on Sunup Recordings (digitally) and Stratford Ct. (physically), which you can find on sunuprecordings.bandcamp.com and stratfordct.bandcamp.com. Anywho, it is out now on tape and on minidisc, maybe soon on vinyl as well! Artwork also by the fabulous @keithrankin! by @luxury.elite
