May heaven remember us,
may the earth respect us,
and may the Duat receive us as one.
Both crossed the Lake of Fire.
Both were measured in the Hall of Two Truths.
And the scales did not waver.
Their love was lighter than a feather.
Stronger than chaos.
Purer than the Nile at birth.
Now they dwell in the Field of Reeds,
where there is no death,
no sickness,
no loneliness.
There, she dresses the light.
He sows the stars.
And every night,
Ra looks upon them and smiles.
May they live for millions of years!
May their names never be erased.
May whoever reads these words
feel their footsteps among the reeds.

I’m not saying that love always takes you to heaven … your life can become a nightmare … but that said, it is worth taking the risk.
