Last week I headed to London Fashion Week with Little Leaf to join Hello Nancy as they partnered with designer Ray Chu for his LFW show.

Anything Fashion Week-related always reminds me of two iconic TV moments, Carrie falling on the catwalk in SATC and Edina organising a fashion show in the 1992 episode of Absolutely Fabulous 😅

So I was delighted to finally experience my first Ab Fab fashion moment, 34 years after that episode aired!

My so called showbiz life ⭐️ My first job was at Capital Radio, I was covering someone who had gone sick but I stayed for 4 years. 🤣 In my first week Mariah Carey popped in as I was selling concert tickets in my corner of the foyer. The year was 1994 and my 19 year old self was in job heaven.

The years that followed gave me some very memorable moments! Swipe for some pics & moments below.… (in no particular order!)

* Insert photo of Matt Le Blanc (Joey) and Matthew Perry (Chandler) (can’t find the photo but there was one of them somewhere!) the year was 1996, I was working at a launch party where the two actors at the peak of their fame rocked up to what they thought was a private party, to awaiting paparazzi; my job was to whip them up to a green room and offer refreshments to soothe them as they were quite stressed! Joey asked me to light his cigarette and grab him a vodka & cranberry whilst Chandler rang Ross to tell him to stay away.🤣

* My boss at the time gifted me a ticket to a charity dinner that George was going to get an award at. Chris Tarrant dared me to climb over the VIP rope and introduce myself to George. So I did.

* I once made Lionel Richie walk up 6 flights of stairs as the lift was broken, he was very chilled about it. Whilst I was trying to pretend I wasn’t gasping for breath whilst making small talk.

* I used to work in the radio shop but every now and then I would pop up to the studio and sing a few jingles! If you listened to Capital Radio in the 90s you may have heard my dulcet tones, and the odd scream on @chrismoylesofficial show. 📻

* Skip to a few years later when I find myself on a photo shoot with Peter Andre. I had a bit of a crush at the time, so flirted to the best of my ability 😅What I wasn’t betting on was that the whole thing would be televised a few months later. 🤭 (Slide 3 for the screenshot) 📸 by @lvlovespr

It’s been 13 years since I left the 9-5 life behind and set up my little PR office at home. Working remotely has so many perks, but there are still a few things I miss about life in a busy PR office…

1st pic (swipe for more): Dog on a desk, this is Bruce (rip) the office dog. (Yes our desks were messy, it was a creative office 🤭)

Being silly at 3pm on a Friday afternoon. Just coz it was Friday and we could lol.

Random things happening like deciding to paint the office entrance.

Getting ready for events together.

Friday playlists (not the same making my own with no one shouting requests).

Getting caught up in world events and encouraging everyone else to get involved 🤣 👑

I recently went to see Mamma Mia again. My first love was theatre and I also love anything Greek related, so this musical has always been a favourite. 🎭

I’ve been lucky enough to work with a gorgeous boutique hotel in Elounda for the last 10 years and the location always gives me Mamma Mia vibes!
