LIVE FROM THE ARCHIVE: THE HXLIDAY

2017 Before the world caught on, we crossed paths with The Hxliday and shot a visual that never officially saw the light of day.

This was before his breakout video with Cole Bennett introduced him to a much larger audience.

Some of the work we created over the years was never released, but that doesn’t make it any less a part of the story. We’ve always believed in recognizing talent early and documenting artists before the rest of the world catches up.

Another moment from the LVTRRAW archive.

LVTRRAW — 2027

We’re opening our doors to a select group of artists, creatives, independent labels, and major labels looking to build something with intention.

For over a decade, we’ve helped shape the visual identities and creative direction of artists across music and culture.

Our approach extends beyond individual releases. From creative strategy and artist development to artwork, film, content, and rollout execution, we develop cohesive bodies of work designed to stand the test of time.

We’re interested in building long-term creative relationships with people who value originality, execution, and ownership.

LVTRRAW ARCHIVE | KING HENDRICK$

Born in Louisiana and shaped by Houston, King Hendrick$ represents a generation of Southern artists whose careers have been built through persistence, regional influence, and an uncompromising approach to their craft.

His journey began long before his recent recognition. Emerging in 2015 with records like “Can’t Be Touched” and “King of the Hill,” Hendrick$ established himself within Houston’s underground rap scene. His 2016 debut mixtape, Addicted to Living, introduced a voice grounded in personal experience, ambition, and the realities of his environment.

Houston’s musical identity runs deep in his work. Influenced by the traditions of Southern rap, Hendrick$ carries the storytelling, confidence, and distinct delivery associated with the region while continuing to develop his own sound.

Over the years, his catalog has expanded through collaborations with artists including Sauce Walka, Babyface Ray, and Peezy, connecting Houston’s musical foundation with Detroit’s contemporary rap movement.

Projects such as Mega Star, Super Villain Origin Story, and Mob America document that evolution. His music has moved beyond the traditional boundaries of Houston rap without abandoning the experiences and influences that shaped him.

More than a decade into his career, King Hendrick$ is an example of an artist building a body of work through consistency rather than waiting for mainstream validation.

An evolving story of Southern influence, independent ambition, and artistic longevity.

LVTRRAW documents the artists, movements, and cultural histories shaping music beyond the mainstream.

Working alongside a living GIANT — the legendary Wyclef Jean, representing Haiti.

From documenting moments along the way to traveling the world creating 7 Quantum Leaps, we’ve had the opportunity to learn from Clef while helping envision a 7-album journey across 7 genres.

This post brings together the “French Quarter” visual and some of our favorite photographs from the journey so far.

Album II, Q Theory, pays homage to Quincy Jones — another chapter in a much bigger story.

Wyclef has spent his career opening doors for creatives across mediums, cultures, and generations. We’re grateful he saw the future in us and trusted us to help build what comes next.

Algorithms and likes don’t amount to the love we get in real life. I dedicated my life to ART many moons ago. I gave love to the underdogs, I paid my dues, now I’m living the life I dreamed about. Getting my flowers from legends mean the world to me because I never chased validation. God has a way of sorting out the storms. Blessed to be in this timeline; through everything I stayed on my 10 and never complained. Remember the ones who helped you along the way. Sincerely, the blueprint 🙏🏾🧙🏾‍♂️ by @lvtrrawmusic

@nolimitherbo “Fallen Soldiers.”

We only shoot visuals we genuinely resonate with. The first time I heard this song, it sparked so many real emotions and memories of people I’ve lost over the years in Chicago.

While directing this, I wanted Herb to give me that same energy I felt in the vocals. I kept pushing him — and he delivered, almost losing his voice in the process.

I brought people from my own neighborhood into the visual and shot parts of it on the same block I grew up on. Full-circle moment.

There’s so much symbolism and detail. No effects. No overthinking. Just pure energy, raw emotion and directing on the spot — let visions turn real.
