My wonderful, loving husband Dale passed away Dec 30 after a long illness of liver cancer in his transplanted liver.

We had just taken an amazing trip with Brandon, Natalie, Warren, Natalie’s dad and Dora We went to the Arctic circle (Lapland) to see Santa and then went to Paris. We added a side trip to London. What a fabulous time with family.

Dale hadn’t been feeling well so when we got back in December we had several trips to the ER. He went into the hospital with abdominal pain on dec 21 and into Hospice at home on Christmas Eve. Kristen flew to Austin on the 21st and we had our last Christmas together.

We moved Dale to a facility with Hospice support on Sunday Dec 28 and he passed peacefully on Tuesday Dec 30th.

He was an amazing man. The love of my life and will be missed by all who knew him. We will have a celebration of life sometime in the future. by @lwilder57

Always fun when the McGee’s come to visit. We went to Maroon Bells, Rifle Falls State Park, golf at River Valley Ranch, Redstone, and the 50th annual Snowmass Aspen Balloon Festival. by @lwilder57

Wow, what a fun summer. We had lots of family and friends visiting. We enjoyed rodeos, concerts, hiking, meteor shower watching, lots of golf, off-roading, plus trips to Vail, Denver and Santa Fe. Our favorite time was the 2 1/2 weeks Brandon, Natalie and Warren spent with us. by @lwilder57
