1st Quarter 2024 = God Did❗️🙏🏾🥹
I can start from the beginning but ya’ll would be reading for hours & hours & hours (muni long voice). I’ll start by saying this was 1000% intentional & manifested 3.5 years ago. There’s one thing I’d always mention when teaching or having a simple conversation: Don’t wait for the opportunity to come to you, Go to it!

I was going to take @arrogant_tae123 class in December but the timing was tewwww off. It didn’t feel right. I was going to Mexico for my birthday & that’s something I was looking forward to for a year. Like damn I needed a break💆🏾‍♀️. I was a bit sad because it was supposed to be his last class🥺— BUT for some reason not once did I have an “Oh Well” attitude, instead I waited for him to drop anotha one cause ain’t no way Tae ain’t gon’ teach La🫠. Sooo, I went on Insta one day after being off of it for my 10 Day Fast & what’d I see—Mr. @arrogant_tae123 posted The Flawless Experience Frontal Class in MIAMI— happening 5 days after my birthday. At this point, I’m going to Mexico & now TRINIDAD to work during CARNIVAL. It took exactly 2 days to decide if I should do all 3🤯. Chile, I cancelled my birthday trip then expeditiously purchased & booked my ✈️ ticket 😅

Investing into myself, The Chance Experience—Learning & Meeting @arrogant_tae123 was definitely worth the sacrifice, trials & tribulations I’ve faced. I’ve kept this part of my journey to myself, submerging myself in God & staying in the present. Although I was confident & sure of my decision I was scared & anxious—Why? Because I’m literally moving off of Faith & not by Sight😳. My resiliency & mentality activated, sustaining my preparedness & high frequency. I had to be still, standing 10 toes down in every storm blowing my way.🙇🏾‍♀️🙅🏾‍♀️. In life you have to know when to be the teacher & when to become a student, you never stop learning. I can surely & humbly say with my chest, my techniques & skills are polished boo🤍🔥

Thank you to the goat himself @arrogant_tae123 for confirming this shxt is in me❗️The Chance Experience is a motion🌊👽✨⚡️💨. We don’t just do hair, we speak it, create & make love to it. We Up babyyy🛸❗️❗️🔥🔥🔥 taken in Max Beauty by @lxchance

A reason to take the long way home🌿💨

Being a travelling stylist, @modluxuryrentals has been part of my journey from the big move to me flying back every couple of months to visit, reconnect & take care of business. Every time I land, they’re my FIRST stop 🙇🏾‍♀️ They’ve never failed me, and that kind of consistency speaks for itself.

Now that I’m back, I get to explore more of their fleet, including this BIG BODY 😻

Whether you need a short-term or long-term rental, hit them up & tell them La sent you! 🦋

Honoured to have spoken at Aura After Hours in Edmonton, hosted by @clubsainteaura 🤍

It was such a beautiful space centered around wellness, connection, and real conversations. The panel, the energy, the vibe in that room… it just confirmed everything for me.

And I had the chance to share a piece of my story that really shaped who I am today, from going through homelessness with my son while graduating school in the health & medical field… to building a business that now lets me fully walk in my purpose…every step took faith, trust, and a whole lot of resilience.

So, I’m stepping back into teaching while embracing this new season of speaking — showing up bigger, deeper, and more intentional as I expand how I serve my growing community through hair, business, and lifestyle.

Big thank you to @clubsainteaura for creating that space and seeing the power in my story.

Next up: 📍Edmonton — The Ponytail Masterclass
June 13 | 2PM
In partnership with @hearthcowork & @sipsbylola.experience

The last time I taught a Masterclass was in 2023. I truly believed that chapter was closed but clearly it wasn’t done with me. Some things are just meant to come back stronger.

Three years later, I’m stepping back into this space with more knowledge, more experience, and more intention than ever before. Every lesson I’ve gained, I’m ready to share, openly and honestly.

In partnership with @hearth, we’ve created a space rooted in both wellness and education, curating an environment that feels just as good as it is educational. I invite you on June 13, 2026 to learn with @chanceologyinc ➡️ a more elevated way of learning, built to give you real, lasting skills.

This is your access to a network, a mindset, and real techniques you can trust. Whether it’s for your personal hair care, elevating your services as a beauty professional, or simply investing in yourself as a busy woman, this space is for you.
