Hi! I’m Lydia (or Lyds) :)

I thought it would be a good time to do a little reintroduction post (& also a great excuse to post some of @_madsshoots_ pictures bc I’m obsessed 🥹🫶!!)

Here are some fun little facts about me:

* I’m a Capricorn (I also recently found out my moon is in cancer & it’s changing my lifeeeee) 🌙✨

* I LOVE sharks (anyone who knows me hears about this a lotttt lols 🤭🦈)

* I grew up in a military family & got to move/live all over the US, as well as spend some time overseas. I loved getting to reinvent myself every few years :)

* I love to write letters/make people little postcards (I even started a little mailing club & it’s the most wonderful & fun & wholesome thing!)

* I have 2 cats (Artemis & Apollo) who are very much my pride & joy 🥹🐈‍⬛

* I love music & am listening to it pretty much all the time 🎶🎧

* I am an introvert at heart, but I truly do especially love one-on-one interactions & getting to really know people <3

* Tattoos have changed my life in so many ways, introduced me to many of my closest friends, and helped me feel most like myself. Learning to tattoo has been one of the hardest, yet most fulfilling things I’ve ever done. I am so excited to be a part of this beautiful community 🩶

✨💌 Mail club is back & I am opening it up for renewals & new subscribers!!! 💌✨

To keep things organized & manageable on my end, I am offering 3 types of subscriptions (3 month, 6 month & 1 year subscription). I’ve committed to send at least the next full year of mailings, but if you’re not ready to sign up for a full year subscription, you can always sign up for the 3 or 6 month subscription & have the option to renew again at the end of your period (if you want to ofc ☺️🫶💫!!)

Below is all the info u need to sign up:

• each mailing will include a handmade postcard or piece of art, a letter of encouragement & maybe some original poetry (if I’m not feeling too shy lol 👀)

• On slide 2, there is an outline of all the subscription tiers you can sign up for & the cost of each (to cover supplies & postage). You can send a Venmo (info included on 2nd slide) or DM me if you want to sign up/renew your subscription!

• This sign up will be for 🍁October🍂 onwards, and I normally send each round out by/around the 25th of the month - meaning this specific round will begin going out Oct 25th. If you want to sign up, just make sure to do so before that date & I’ll put you down for this one! ✍️

• To sign up, just send a Venmo or DM with your name & mailing address, so I can add you to the list! Also, feel free to shoot me a DM (or drop a comment below) with any questions! 🫶💭

• Lastly, if you don’t have the means, but would still like to receive a mailing, please just shoot me a DM & I’d love to still send you something, no questions asked! This isn’t something I’m trying to make money from at all, I just really love connecting with people via mail!! ☺️💟

I got to tattoo my beautiful soul sister & I could cryyyyy! 🥹🫶💫

Almost a whole year ago, Sasha & I were walking through the a lantern festival & she stopped by a specific flower lantern, pointed to it & said “that’s it! That’s what I want you to tattoo on me” - before I even had a tattoo machine, an iPad or anything 😭🫶

Sasha, thank you soooooo much for the trust (& for sitting like an absolute ROCK!!!) ILYSM!! I am so grateful that I got to do this one for you 🥰🫶💫

2026 has been a hard year for almost every single person I know. It has been a year filled with a lot of pain & loss & grief. And hopelessness too. I think it’s been “raining” for a lot of people, all over the world.

I truly believe that it is the greatest gift to care deeply for & love people. It is an honor & privilege to be trusted with their hearts & minds & thoughts. Especially when the world feels extra heavy, let’s all remember to be a little more gentle with each other (& ourselves) 🖤

@girlknewyork was the very first artist that ever made me want to get tattooed. I immediately fell in love with the ambiguity & disorientation she incorporated in her drawing, and how everything was allowed to be imperfect & messy. In fact, that’s what made it beautiful.

I drew this a while ago, inspired by her signature style. The world is a little extra heavy & confusing right now & it feels like the right week to share it 🖤
