Beeindruckende Ästhetik, präzise Bildsprache und tiefe Emotionen treffen beim 16. LICHTER Art Award aufeinander. Fünf Videokunstarbeiten zeigen fünf unverwechselbare Perspektiven: von VR und Trauma über queere Geschichtsschreibung bis hin zur Frage, warum wir arbeiten. Ein Programm, das unter die Haut geht.

Die Werke der fünf nominierten Künstler*innen sind in einer kuratierten Ausstellung im haistudio (@thehaistudio), Berliner Straße 27, 60311 Frankfurt am Main, zu sehen.

Die Preisverleihung findet am 03. Mai 2026 um 20 Uhr in unserem Festivalzentrum MASSIF E statt.

studio research insights: @lydimarx

Lydia Marx is a Berlin based filmmaker and artist. Her work encompasses video works, photography and installations, in which she explores collective and individual memories and examine it‘s shifting within technological and sociological developments. In her artistic research Marx currently focuses on food, especially fried food in the context of heritage, politics and pop culture. For that she collects pictures, texts and recipes as a base for an upcoming film script.
