A muse introduced me to the bleeding tooth fungus, and I had thought it would make the perfect hat for a tooth fairy.

If you can't wait for me to get my online shop together, be sure to come out to First Fridays at the Crossroads this weekend to snag a print! by @lydlow.studios

She has arrived!!! I've been dreaming of illustrating the Bridal Veil Stinkhorn for ages 👰‍♀🍄 This was also partly inspired by the chinese practice of Ghost Brides.

I'll be happy to tell you stories of these eerie marriages this Saturday @boozybookfest

Nothing like a pile of skulls to tell a goth person you think they're cute 🖤 Also fact: @whateverforeverrr666 looks devastating in every hair color.

Playing with the concept of lookalike mushrooms. The Chanterelle is delicious, while the Jack-O-Lantern will put you in a world of hurt.

Hope to go on more hikes and perhaps learn enough to safely forage next year.

This print will be available at my booth this weekend @worldodditiesexpo in Chicago!

This month's story is based on how we blindly follow GPS systems, and how the fae might choose to use that to their favor. Comment 👻 if you want to collect this will-o'-the-wisp and her tale. by @lydlow.studios

Putting the finishing touches on this month's print for my snail mail club 📨 It comes with a short horror story that starts with two strangers sharing a cigarette outside a bar. Smoke. Secrets. Counting down to the chase.

7 days left till these get sent out. Comment 🦌 if you want more details on joining 🖤 by @lydlow.studios

2nd member of my Kintsugi Creature series. This series is about finding balance between ferocity and fragility.

Really tempted to turn them into enamel pins 👀 Also maybe it's the marathon of pencil figure studies, but the softer shading style is really calling to me.

Debating between a scorpion or spider next.

The conflicts of desire have overcast much of my adult life. Its excess, absence, how closely cravings would seem more motivated by leanings towards oblivion than any want for closeness. The mess of it all makes it hard to still find magic or beauty in the act. So I'm using the fantastical to find my path.

Internal Dialogue: Ok. Slow your breathing. Don't stare at people. Oh that's a cool outfit. Wait no we're staring. Dammit. But definitely make eye contact. But not too much eye contact. Am I smiling? Is this what smiling feels like?

My method is a work-in-progress but these chocolate pretzels are worth the madness. Did I mention that the story was hopelessly sapphic? by @lydlow.studios
