Pregnancy shoot story 📸👇🏽🤩

So I wanted a picture that would truly capture my pregnancy journey—one that speaks of boldness, courage, and an unstoppable spirit. 😃✨

My amazing sister and friend, Tosin, who also happens to be my talented photographer @lydrolstudio, and I had quite the adventure that day.

Neither of us knew how to tie a gele 🤣, but we were determined to create something beautiful regardless. And we did—because for me, it’s never about perfection, but about the feelings, memories, and story each moment holds. 💛

Though this is a Yoruba attire, and I am proudly Igbo, I absolutely love the beauty in our diversity and the way culture connects us all. 👌

So our tools in biz is what we're talking about today...

Wearing one of our aso oke blazers...
Its a beautiful thing when we pick threads and transform into fabrics using our weaving stands...💃💃💃💃.

The out come is usually amazing...🥰🥰
Then we go into sewing where we use the sewing machine...

The making of each aso oke you see as a design, is an art work concieved as an idea before we bring it out...

As a woman Creativity at work.

A woman that searches diligently, looking for raw materials to work with..

What raw materials do you have in your hands...
What talent or talents do you have, and how much have you multiplied that.. Matt 25:15..
Everyone has been given according to their ability..

As a woman you need to resourceful, have a positive attitude to what needs to be done...

You need to have a picture of that finished product or services even before you begin to seek for your wool and flax...
