The first time I came and looked at this building was September 9, 2022. I instantly fell in love with the space and knew I would have it one day. At the time I was just returning back to Baltimore from Atlanta and had my mind set on what I was going to do once I returned. But at the time I wasn’t ready for this building and I believe that’s why God didn’t give it to me. He knew I had more growing and evolving to do so he gave me what I needed and could handle at that time.

Nyte Lyfe Studios 817 N Howard Street. “My very own spot” I used to say. Same plans I’m making happen now was what I wanted to do then but I will tell that story another day. What I will say is that space taught me a lot and at the time I needed more than anything. I didn’t walk away from that place rich like I thought I would but I was able to finish a lease and do something I never thought I would do and learn in the process.

Anyway so here we are 2026. I reached out to the agent back in March trying to structure a new deal that could work for us both. The building is in a great area and has parking but it’s a unique space for a unique tenant like myself but has been vacant since 2021. They wanted 4500 everything paid and I offered 2600 and I’ll pay my own utilities. We went back and forth a little and neither of us was budging. I sent my last offer which the number I won’t say but I was firm on it, they said no and kinda gave up on the thought. Then out the blue I get an email back in July saying they will take my last offer which was an amazing offer I will say for me. We spent another month or so making sure the contracts and paperwork was right and August 31st i got my keys.

God wanted me to have this building but he also wanted me to be able to sustain it as well. So what happened? I watched God start removing things and people who no longer served me to prepare me for the things I prayed for. He started giving me opportunities and opening doors for me long before I got the keys to this one. And all i can hear him saying is there is MORE. GOD I thank you for every blessing, every failure, every win, and more. by @lyfebaltimore

There’s levels to this. Welcome to ours.

I’ve spent years creating, putting events together, and making room for other artists. Now we have a place to bring it all together.

Introducing LEVEL86.

Recording studio. Dance and rehearsal space. Event hall. Offices. Content and podcast space.

I wanted a space where you can work on your craft, handle your business, and be around other people building something too.

For the artist who needs somewhere to record. The dancer who needs room to rehearse. The entrepreneur who needs an office. The creator ready to get their ideas out. And the people who bring us all together.

There’s so much more this building will offer. What you see here is just the start. I’ll be sharing more as we bring it to life.

Putting events together has been part of my life for years. Now we have a home for more of those moments.

Performances, celebrations, pop-ups, and people coming together. I’m looking forward to seeing what y’all bring into this room.

For over 10 years, we've been creating opportunities for Baltimore creatives.
This summer, LYFE Summer Sessions will serve 35 young people through a paid music and content creation program focused on production, songwriting, recording, performance, and career development.
We've already secured $85,000 in funding and invested over $8,000 in music equipment. Now we're raising an additional $10,000 to expand equipment, add another instructor, and create an even better experience for the youth we serve.
