![This hymn is one of (what I like to call), the cliche hymns of the African American worship tradition; such that, most Wakandans want to hear it as a [gospel] solo with no tempo. BOY DOES THAT IRK MY CULTURED SOUL 😡. I’m sure we’d ALL enjoy one ole Gospel singer detached from the tempo in an effort escort our spirits to higher ground with one ole soul stirring rendition of this one, BUT, I prefer to hear it WITH a tempo and as a congregational hymn of the highest effort. So during the pandemic, when I did my job from home every week, I decided to extract the men from the “Covid Choir,” go for what I know on the 88, and demonstrate that Wakandans know how to make music in different ways than just gospel and P&W (especially the latter). BOY DID I HAVE TO BE CREATIVE DURING THOSE TIMES🤣😂🤣! Anyway, my high school piano teacher, and still my inspiration today, told me that “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” was her mother’s favorite hymn; so…I dedicate this trip down Pandemic Parkway to the great Mrs. Portia S. Hawkins! 💚🧡💚🧡💚🧡💚 by @lyfewythhymn](https://scontent-mia3-3.cdninstagram.com/v/t51.82787-15/814651047_18465384448188436_4246273870855354325_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_s640x640_tt6&_nc_cat=110&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=18de74&efg=eyJlZmdfdGFnIjoiQ0xJUFMuYmVzdF9pbWFnZV91cmxnZW4uQzMifQ%3D%3D&_nc_ohc=ZpmwKCGmSzgQ7kNvwG-7T_n&_nc_oc=Ado01wflpns6j0B3MKO9aTeSAkO8H3zZub-4r21akRJQstKnQwyjNXcKnwbuY-NrM4urCT5cjcI4agfDqRn9Ceqx&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-mia3-3.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=oD8Y0cLPLc05_e7AB8yMvQ&_nc_ss=70580&oh=00_AQTrtDcvZcFK_o3PXHkaezS1mq2ORksvRfNNMcikL8P4gg&oe=6AF12526)
