#lemontree #pottrees #lemontree #fortheloveofplants 1. Give it plenty of #sunlight

* At least 6–8 hours of direct sun every day.
* A south-facing patio, deck, or window is ideal.

2. Use a well-draining pot

* Choose a pot with drainage holes.
* The pot should be large enough for the roots (at least 15–20 gallons for a mature tree).
* Use a quality citrus or well-draining potting mix.

3. Water correctly

* Water deeply until water runs out of the drainage holes.
* Let the top 1–2 inches of soil dry before watering again.
* Avoid keeping the soil constantly soggy, which can cause root rot.

4. Fertilize regularly

* Use a fertilizer made for citrus trees.
* Feed during spring and summer according to the product directions.

5. Protect from cold weather

* Lime trees are sensitive to frost.
* If temperatures drop below about 40°F (4°C), move the pot indoors or to a protected area.

6. Watch for pests

* Check leaves for aphids, scale insects, spider mites, and whiteflies.
* Treat early with insecticidal soap or horticultural oil if needed.

7. Prune lightly

* Remove dead, damaged, or crossing branches.
* Avoid heavy pruning unless necessary.

If you’d like, you can upload a photo of your lime tree, and I can help identify any specific problems such as yellow leaves, leaf drop, pests, or nutrient deficiencies. by @lyfygreen
