it’s been like a year since i last posted oops, so here are some of my top moments from sweden from previous year as a 26 year old 🙂‍↕️ (sthlm trips not included!! 🚂 )

just wanna give a big thanks to my beautiful friends for making those cold dark winter nights a little bit better 😖❄️ (i mean it was still so bad i started anti depressants lmao, but tbh i feel like it was just seasonal x sweden depression or smth cus while it did help numb my chronically raging anxiety, it also kinda disappeared the moment i left sweden and hasn’t really come back since i stopped so idk cheers 🍻)

special thanks to my local pokemon community and special special thanks to THE pokémon friend and their mom!! saved me so many times!! 🫶 always grateful for cat friend too despite crashing out at least 4x a year over our friendship but it’s ok, maybe it’s a part of it idk 😭 as long as i can return to the cats in the end, we all good 😌👌

3rd and last day of ha giang loop adventure 🏍️✨ truly some of the prettiest views i’ve ever seen!! honestly so humbling and i’m fr biting my fist at how incredibly beautiful the earth is and how i’ll never be able to see all of it :( also same for all the food and music and clothing i’ll never get to experience sigh :(( taken in Ha Giang Loop, Vietnam by @lyiaun

day 2 of ha giang loop!! the weather was a bit cloudy and rainy today 🥲 but tbh it was fine, it was cool experiencing a different kind of climate (?) and seeing all the misty mountains~ ☁️ i do wish i had been able to see the chinese border with a clear sky, but it was pretty nonetheless! ✨

i actually felt a bit bad because several of the easydrivers asked me if i was okay or said it looked like i wasn’t having fun. but to be honest i was just so extremely tired, i was literally about to fall asleep on the bike. like my helmet bumped into my driver’s several times cus i was about to knock off 😭

when we arrived at our hotel, they told us we had some time to explore if we wanted to before dinner. but tbh i just slept. and so did most of the girls in my group. after dinner, we also went out. i was still absolutely to done for and kind of just wanted to go back to the hotel. since it was the last night, some people in my group even went clubbing afterwards 😵‍💫 no idea where they got that energy from, but most of all i feel bad for the easydrivers, more or less being forced to socialize, party and drink every single night with a bunch of annoying tourists basically.

i might not have been the most social one in this specific group, but i still very much enjoyed myself. for example i had quite an interesting conversation with one of the younger easydrivers. he practiced english with me by using an app, and proudly told me about how he had just become a father. it was all very sweet and i appreciate these kind of cultural exchanges more. our tour leader was also really fun and social! 🦋 taken in Ha Giang Loop, Vietnam by @lyiaun

first day of ha giang loop!!

i had heard great things about the loop, but thought people must be overexaggerating the way they documented crying post-tour 🤨 spoiler: it really was not an over exaggeration 🥹 although i did not shed any tears, it was truly an amazing experience and probably one of the best in my life 😔💗 i haven’t done a lot of hiking or been to a lot of southeast asian countries, but the view and the landscape was absolutely breathtaking. what a way to start my vietnam trip!!! 🏞️

you can of course do it on your own if you want to, but im happy i went with a tour. although the food was a bit lacking (chicken nuggets and fries? really? 😭), it allowed me to just sit back and relax behind my easydriver while i could take pictures. they were so professional too, and everyone were super fun to be around! definitely a job for extroverts. 😂 our tour leader was awesome, and our group had an amazing dynamic. i could definitely see myself doing this again.✨

3d2n was pretty decent for me though. im a very tired person and need a lot of bedrot time so this was perfect. 💖💖 taken in Ha Giang Loop, Vietnam by @lyiaun

i love hanoi and i love vietnam so far!!! been spending a little bit more than i planned and a little bit too much, but after that grape picking bullshit i truly think i deserve to treat myself some 🥹 got a new fresh haircut too ✨

im ngl, the traffic is absolutely nuts. i had the worst cultural shock the first 2 days and deadass felt like having a mental breakdown 5 seconds after leaving the hotel. but by the 3rd day, i got used to it and now i walk into traffic lowkey blind without contacts, just winging it and hoping i wont get run over 🤭🤭 i think i just knew that if i can’t overcome this anxiety, i wont be able to do anything for the next 3 weeks lol. they’re really good drivers though fr 🥴

the heat and humidity is also driving me insane. i didn’t know i was capable of sweating this much, no wonder i don’t have to go to the bathroom, im just sweating it all out the very moment i step outside fr 🥵

but omg i loooove it. the food is amaaazing. the treatments are amaaazing. the service is amaaaazing. it’s so cheap!!! and im especially in love with my girls at the hotel reception. they’ve been so accomodating, upgrading my room, letting me extend, letting me charge my phone, store my luggage for a few days despite post check-out. absolutely adorable!! 💓

im also so happy to finally see my cute friend again that i met on my way from shanghai to taipei~ i still haven’t updated that story yet, but i will when i have time eventually 😇
