one year in new york city & here are a few things i’ve learned along the way🗽

•biggest city in the nation and yet i see familiar faces around every corner

•never thought I was a creative person until I surrounded myself with passionate people

•uncomfortable moments are where you grow the most

•some of the kindest humans i have ever encountered live here. the stereotype is a lie

•community runs so much deeper than i ever expected

•you can cry anywhere lol

•nothing feels better than a sunny 70 degree day with sidewalks bustling and people sprawled throughout every park

•can learn new languages if you listen clearly

•it can be as cheap or as expensive as you want it to be

•the early morning hours are the best before the city wakes up and you’re alone with your thoughts

•you can have any food you’ve ever craved. ever.

•i have met people with the most unbelievable stories

• the 3am nights and the 7am alarms are not a mistake - they’re the whole reason i came here

year one. just getting started. taken in New York, New York by @lyndseyclos

if you know anything about me, you know my siblings are the most important part of my world

today marks @allyclos 21st birthday & @rileyclos 23rd. every day i am more impressed by these two (& of course Dr. @hayleyclos) and am so proud to be their sister

the most exciting part of all of this is that we can now all go to the bars together when we are home for the holidays 🤝 by @lyndseyclos

this is simply a moment of gratitude for having the most incredible people that surround me. i would be nothing without my friends who are constant reminders of how crucial community is, especially in a such a fast-moving world. @sarahfreese20 threw me a surprise as i am stepping into a new career journey & all these people showed up on a wednesday 😭🫶 taken in Lower East Side by @lyndseyclos
