On the anniversary of my beloved mother’s death, I want to share a picture of the women who were in the room as she was dying.

Without the immigrants who work as aides at the nursing home where my mother lived for the last three years of her life, there would be NO ONE to fill those jobs. These women and their co-workers showed up every day for work that is underpaid, backbreaking, grueling, relentless, and physically and emotionally exhausting. They did it with patience, kindness, skill, and genuine affection. When their shift ended, they went on to their second or third job.

I can’t thank them - and the nurses and staff at Seashore Point - enough for everything they did for my mom, and for me, every single day she was there. #AngelsOnEarth #EssentialWorkers #DoingGodsWork 🤎 taken in Provincetown, Massachusetts by @lynettemolnar

Happy International Lesbian Visibility Day. To quote the wonderful Michelle Axelson, “Thanks to all who’ve made themselves visible publicly, privately, and love to those who still can’t.” #lvw #lvwptown #lvw2025 by @lynettemolnar
