Nobody panic, but #ShadowReaper is releasing TOMORROW!!

So this happened. I found out recently (and very belatedly, lol) that sometime in the last 12ish months I hit a surreal author milestone: over 1 million copies of my books have sold around the globe! I was stunned when I learned the news a few weeks ago, and I’m still stunned today. 🥹

My author journey hasn’t been without challenges. There have been some really high highs, but also some incredibly low lows. I’ve been in this industry for nearly ten years, and have given every part of myself along the way - blood, sweat, tears, you name it. At times, it’s been so hard that it’s brought me to my knees, and at other times, I’ve been floating on Cloud 9. But through it all, one thing remains the same: just how much of a joy and a privilege it is to create stories that bring such light and hope and happiness to so many people.

Over a million of you - that blows my mind. 😭😭😭

I wish there was a stronger way to say “thank you.” I wish I could leap through your screen and hug every single one of you who has supported me and my books throughout the years - some for nearly a decade, some who have found my stories more recently, but ALL of you so dearly loved and appreciated by me. (Truly, I have no words for how grateful I am!! 🥹😭)

I absolutely can’t wait for everything that’s ahead, and all the books I’m looking forward to giving you in the future - I have 5 already on contract, and I am SO EXCITED for you to read them when the time comes!! (Brace yourselves! That’s all I’m saying! 😉)

For now, I’m clocking off from socials after tonight for a much-needed summer break, but I’ll be back in the New Year and ready to share a whole heap of VERY cool stuff with you. Until then, for all who celebrate, I wish you a very Merry Christmas, and for everyone else, a safe and happy holiday season! ❤️ by @lynettenoni

It’s here!!! My author copies of the US edition of #Akarnae have finally arrived (a smidge late owing to a hiccup with the postal service) but omigossssssh the wait was worth it because IT’S SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!

This book first released in Australia in 2015 - that’s over a decade ago, which means over 10 years of dreaming and hoping and praying for the day that #TheMedoranChronicles would start spreading out further across the globe. So when I say I have a LOT of feelings about the series finally coming to US shores (and maybe a few other places *very* soon 🇬🇧🇫🇷🇭🇺😉🤐🤫) I really, truly mean that.

Thank you so so SO much to my publishers at @astrakidsbooks / @astrapublishinghouse for your incredible passion for this series and everything you’ve done to make this release so special (🥹😭), and also big thanks to the team at @hardiegrantkids (especially my foreign rights agent, Evie) for making this happen!

Lastly, to US readers picking up this series, I hope you have the best adventure reading these books! The first book is OUT NOW, and the rest are releasing every two months until May - preorders are already available for the rest of the series!

Happy reading, everyone, and remember:

Finally giving this one the spotlight it deserves. 🖤

Shadow Reaper by @lynettenoni has been sitting on my shelf waiting patiently for me, and I figured it was about time I actually showed off my @fairyloot edition.

Lynette Noni is one of those authors whose books I will happily pick up without much convincing because I absolutely loved The Prison Healer. I genuinely wish more people talked about that series because it deserves SO much more love. So when I saw she had a new duology, I knew I was going to need it.

I haven’t actually started Shadow Reaper yet, mostly because I’ve been trying to hold myself back from starting too many series when only the first book is out. I KNOW I’m going to love it, and then I’ll have to wait for the sequel… and when it finally arrives, I’ll inevitably have to reread the first book because apparently my brain refuses to retain anything for that long.

But enemies-to-lovers, found family, magic thieves, a deadly blackmist, high-stakes action AND a silver-tongued criminal who may or may not be trustworthy? Yeah… I’m not convinced I’ll manage to wait until the duology is complete. 😂🖤

[?] Have you read Shadow Reaper yet? And if you’ve read The Prison Healer, PLEASE tell me because I need more people to talk about it with!
