I don’t normally post photos of myself—it’s not really my thing—but this gift was too special not to share. For my 40th, the Viviers(@laurenviviers & @78_brad )gave me the most thoughtful present: a photo shoot with the amazingly talented Sharyn (@sharynhodgesphotography ), who worked her magic and made me feel completely at ease.

A little bit of Newcastle 🤍

We came up for Nationals, but one of my favourite parts of travelling for bodyboarding will always be discovering the coastline around it.

Boxy was pretty special. Clear water, beautiful stretches of coastline and something about it that instantly made me feel like I was back home, riding my local Wedge. 🔼

Some places just have that feeling. You arrive, look around and immediately feel at home.

We spoke to @lynjux co-founder of the amazing @pewlgirls Pool Empowered Women Leading (with @francehazar1 ).

Pewl Girls is A group of amazing women with a shared passion for bodyboarding and being together in an inclusive and uplifting environment

This group was started to “bring women together, no matter their level” - Lyndell, and it was a huge success. Women of all ages and skill levels embarked on @urbnsurf Sydney to share laughs, hoots and waves!

I don’t think I’ve stopped smiling since this weekend 🤍

What we created… it honestly feels a little surreal. To bring this to life alongside @francehazar1, and to stand there surrounded by so many incredible women, I don’t even have the words.

This has been something sitting in my heart for a long time. A dream to create a space where women can come together, support each other, share waves, and just feel that energy… and wow, you could feel it everywhere.

The stoke, the connection, the courage in the water, the conversations on land… it was more than I ever imagined it could be.

I’m just so grateful. For every single woman who showed up, who trusted us, who brought their energy and made the day what it was.

This is only the beginning… and I’m so excited (and honestly a little emotional) thinking about where this can go 💫 taken in URBNSURF by @lynjux

🌈 Welcomed by a rainbow, farewelled by a rainbow, what a way to bookend an unforgettable week at National Titles @urbnsurf Sydney 🌈

Grateful to @surfingaus & @surfingvictoria for making this historic first Australian Nationals at a wave pool so special 🙌

💙 Shout out to my @bodyboardingvictoria crew! couldn’t have done it without you.

Congrats to all competitors and winners 🏆 I was especially honoured to share the lineup with such incredible female royalty and I think we made history with the biggest age range ever in a single final! 🤙✨
