We’re thinking we did the Montech HS02 Pro right with this one 👀

Back at it with another build! We’ll be reviewing this one during our LIVE stream later today, but we’re glad we found a way to make something cool work in this case, given some of the difficulties we encountered. The HS02 overall can work really well for a lot of people. But you should know by now that we prefer overdoing something if we’re gonna do it all!

It took three separate 3D printed mods to make this build work the way we wanted to - a PSU bracket that flipped the PSU to be front facing and not rear facing, a pump/res mount plate that allowed proper placement since the rear dual 120mm fan mounting is only really equipped for standard 25mm thick fans and nothing else, and a standoff bracket that elevated the bottom 360mm radiator to be flush with the case since the bottom fan cutout isn’t long enough for any radiators by default.

A lot of cases are really cool looking at first glance but when it comes down to trying to install hardware you have already, you can come across quite a few roadblocks. It was really nice not having to cut up any of this case and instead go the route of additive modding. With the chosen mods we designed and implemented, it allowed us to do everything we wanted to accomplish!

The resulting build is actually quite the looker, featuring MSI’s Project Zero Z790 and Intel 12900KS, along with a Lynk+ RTX 4090 that can deliver some insanely solid gaming experiences! It was also the perfect opportunity to utilize Thermal Grizzly’s new WireView Pro - a device that we think everyone should have considering the gamble of using newer GPUs these days!
