I am overcome by the bravery of Dr Tiziana Roggio, a plastic surgeon at St George's hospital in Tooting, who is currently volunteering at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis. She spoke with me on the phone from the operating theatre yesterday where she is assisting patients with blast injuries and burns with limited medical supplies. An audio clip from our interview. #gaza #nasserhospital by @lynnalannah
Reflecting on 2025 I achieved zero "life milestones" but I did start an exciting new job in June and interviewed my idol Lena Dunham for my first interview. What an honour to have spent the evening with freed Iranian detainee Anoosheh Ashoori and his son Aryan. The pair are running the London Marathon together next month in aid of Amnesty International and Hostage International, the organisations who supported Anoosheh when he was detained and to remember those who have been left behind in Evin Prison. Definitely a pinch myself moment in my career so far. by @lynnalannah
