I popped into the amazing kids indie bookstore in NYC, Books of Wonder, and learned that GHOST TOWN IN THE MOUNTAINS, written by me and illustrated spook-tacularly by Roland Garrigue, was on order but the books hadn’t arrived yet. They asked me to sign bookplates! and I also left bookmarks and stickers. What a thrill for this kidlit author and kids book nerd! @sleepingbearpress @rolandgarrigue by @lynnbecker196

Ghost Town In The Mountains by Lynn Becker: It’s a dark and gloomy night when two children decide to visit a ghost town. It’s lonely. It’s deserted. And it’s certainly eerie. The main street is filled with tumbledown storefronts and there’s not a soul in sight. But then the kids spot a boarded-up creaky, creepy cabin. Do they dare enter? What will they find? And what is with all those bones their dog is collecting? Perfect for ages 5-8.

Luna Loves Yoga by Peggy Richard: Luna Loves Yoga is a vibrant picture book for ages 3-8. It follows Luna, a tuxedo kitty who twists, stretches, and balances her way through the day until it’s time to be still, rest, and just breathe. Engaging text, a sprinkling of interesting cat facts and colorful illustrations will inspire the young and the young at heart, turning it into an instant family favorite!

Today is the book birthday for GHOST TOWN IN THE MOUNTAINS, written by me and illustrated by the amazing Roland Garrigue, and I couldn't be more excited!!!!

(I'm so excited, I can't even come up with any clever puns about how funny/scary this book is!)
