We are absolutely delighted to announce the birth of our firstborn son after 5 years of infertility we have been blessed to shepherd this sweet little love. 🖤

He is risen indeed!
And this sweet bump I’m cradling is proof that he is still working miracles! Healing still pours from the wounds he bore for us. Every year I love to listen to Dante’s inferno to remind me (even in figurative literature terms) of the Hell Jesus saved us from and then Easter morning I listen to He’s alive which is the resurrection story from Peter’s perspective in song form. Easter weekend brings many feelings for my heart but Easter Sunday is for celebration that Jesus died and rose again to give everyone the free gift of salvation! I can’t wait to share this story with my little boy, I pray when the time comes he chooses to take that free gift and live a life for Jesus. 🤍 by @lynndm62

Fertility update: This has been a very hope filled month. Though we didn’t see the outcome we had hoped for, God was still heavily present in our first period since my surgery July 2023! Our doctor put me on progesterone injections (PIO IYKYK) which induced my first cycle in a year and a half. We took letrozole on day 3 and our day 12 ultrasound showed a follicle about the appropriate size for that day. I had a clear pattern of mucus which leads me to believe that I did ovulate. We are still waiting to hear bloodwork results from our peak +7 bloodwork but what we do know is though this cycle was beautiful and healing, no baby was conceived this time. I have been working with my Dr at SPVI, a nutritionist and a chiropractor trying to help my body yield to its design. I’ve also been in counseling to do some mind and soul care. This has opened doors to learning a ton about myself and getting to work on it. God has been so good in this time to just be so wonderful, leading me beside still waters when everything is at times a bit overwhelming. I’m keeping my eyes on Jesus and can’t wait to see what the new year brings.
(Side note: I know CD3 is too early to test, but took one for peace of mind before taking letrozole again) by @lynndm62

Last year for the Fourth of July we visited a state park just a short drive away. It was the month before my first surgery and we were just trying to make memories and distract ourselves from the upcoming surgery. It was so nice and if you’re ever in the area I’d recommend checking it out! taken in Indian Cave State Park by @lynndm62

I’m just believing in faith that my wait is coming to an end. That this feeling of barrenness will become a thing of the past. That the Lord would remember me and grant the ability to caretake and shepherd and guard a little life (okay okay many little lives over the years) through me for him. What he’s been so good to do for others I’m counting on him to do for me. To triumph over death, hell and the grave to bring my womb to life for him.

Happy Father’s Day to this Man who is a Father in waiting. While the doctors are not God and can’t exactly tell us what we don’t have babies yet. We are believing for children and hoping against hope that they’ll be here soon.

Thirty!? I remember when my mom turned thirty and she sang along to this song about her next thirty years, how am I here?! While 30 does not meet me the way 20 year old me imagined it, I’m still so grateful for the life I’m living. I have been honored to know so many wonderful people. I’ve been blessed with many neat and wonderful experiences. And I’m humbled to have been able to serve the Lord along the way. I can’t wait to see what my next thirty years looks like!
